Are my babies okay ?!?!

This is my very first grow. I mean who tf wants to buy weed when u can grow it for free right ? okay so basically I've just been experimenting with my girls. moving the light and increasing the humidity by placing a plastic bag over the pot. I'm running a 600w mh 3ft away . fox farm ocean soil temp ranges from 77-81 and humidity goes from 40-50 . I've given them water and this stuff called tapping roots that they guy at the hydro store gave me for doing business with them. I've heard that ur supposed to start under florescent lights for seeds .. but I've read ppl using 1000 watters the whole way thru . So these girls have been under the 600w for a little over a week now. Please help with any tips or if can tell me whats going on here that would be great

Looking good and great job and making the move to grow your own saves a lot of cash once you get things dieled in

As your using soil just make sure your not over watering giving the girls to much long when you first start is hard I done it and I think most people here did the same


You should water when the pot feels like do the lift test water your plant lift her take a mental note now leave her to dry out a few days till she's light or till the plant starts to drop a little this will tell you how many days you need to wait till you water


Example if plant is left for 4 days starts to look sad water every 3 days once the plant gets older she willl need to be feed more often but till her roots fill the pot you will not to water very much once she is drinking all the water and drying out with in two days it might be time to upsize her to a new home that or you will be watering every day in flower

Please don't love your girls to death read and watch others grow and enjoy your new found hobby it should be fine the day it's not is the day you should stop all the best and happy growing

Also your temps are okay but in flower you will need to try drop them a little

humidity can be high in veg growth rate will be faster if they in the 60%-70% but if you can't get it higher your levels now are fine

I got real bad medical news this week so Imma be a richard head, "Way cheaper" ...naah can't agree, with equipment
(always need newer shinier stuff) and other items related to the grow, (which is quite the long list) can't forget elect, heat or cooling also. Not even mentioning what the hourly wage.
We grow because its fresh, no poisons or additives, it's fun and are proud to be self reliant, and shady weed deals are for kids. If my Govt for whatever reason decides it's illegal then that is there problem, I am hurting no one. rant over sorry
