So, you don't believe in facts and only your opinion? Every economic indicator points out that we have a GREAT economy going. Unemployment low, job creation high, interest rates low, home ownership high, stock market at a record high, GNP growth on the plus side through the last 35 quarters.

These are the facts. Now what are your "opinions" based upon?

Those are govt. facts promulgated by the Bushies. I guess you don't read about all the layoffs happening weekly, GM, Ford, etc (didn't take notes those are just two that came to mind). How about the fact the govt doesn't report net gains in employment, ie. new jobs created don't subtract the jobs lost. Then you have the fact that after 6-9 mos, the layed off people fall off the records, how many of those people either don't have a job or work at Walmart for 5.50 an hr. The major indicators I have are the people I know first hand and none of them are doing better than they were 10 years ago. So stick your govt. figures where the sun don't shine, it's smoke and mirrors old pal! As I've said many times before: "the only people doing well in this economy are the wealthy". I'm sure that you, being wealthy, actually believe we're all doing better. Guess what pal it's a joke, a bad one, but still a joke. My sense of humor tells me it's time to leave this forum today, I'm getting nauseated!

Just because our political views appear to be on opposite sides of the coin, does not give you liberty to demean me, so my response to you is baaarrrfff. Afterall you started a thread in My Name, What were you thinking, geez a thread with his name as the Title so you could rant and rave on me for hours, You are a sick man!

Oh you with such immodest views. Let me put on my fantasy glasses and view the world from your view. All is well in the world, No poverty, well at least I can't see any with my fantasy glasses, what else can't I see, torture by my govt. rediculous, our libertys being taken by using "FEAR", can't see that, The majority of the world hating America, nope can't see that, Geeze these glasses are wonderful, the world is great, one big happy family, Righteous wars everywhere, we are the good guys after all, and the BAD guys want to take it all away. I'd sure like a pair of those glasses, the ones that make all negative things in the world disappear. Famine, wars, poverty, torture, all in the name of righteous American leadership. What a great world it is. Tell an impoverished starving child in Africa, You know, the ones with extended bellies and the flies climbing all over them, tell them how wonderful the world is: Mayby those aren't glasses but blinders! You think I'm negative, I say take off your blinders, the world is a very negative place unless your royality. Oh yeah I forgot Baaarrrfff!

OK ... good post you made there. Now then, I've asked you this question before and recieved no answer from you. But, I'll ask it again: Suppose you were made KING of the United States and could construct a political/economic system of your desires ... the Eden or Utopia of your dreams, if you will. What would it look like and how would you accomplish it?

I really don't expect any concrete answers to the question, but hope springs eternal. :)

If you believe in God and the Bible, You should know that there is no utopian Govt. that man can devise that would work as long as the Devil is in control of the world. So, your just Baiting me. I've said a few times before, without Divine intervention, (God stepping in) Man is destined to self destruct no matter what government he comes up with, Man at this point in time, is extremely greedy and non-caring of his fellow man, warring all over the planet and the clock is ticking. Nukes in N. Korea, Pakistan, India, China, Russia, France, Great Briton, Maybe Iran next, And the most powerful ones in our own paranoid govt.s hands, The future is set in stone. It's just a matter of time, And oh yeah, I forgot Israel, The most paranoid nation on Earth, can you say KABOOM!

Nope, not baiting you at all. Everything you've said in your above post is true and I agree with it all except the baiting part. Nothing has changed since recorded time began, with the exception of the firepower, i.e., nukes. As you know, the history of Man's violence against Man is very clearly depicted in the Bible. Man's greed is in the Scriptures as well. I sincerely believe that the Founding Fathers took this into consideration when they set up a constitutional republic form of government with the Constitution binding our federal government, limiting the people who run it and their desire for never ending power. This includes those on the outside of government who try to lobby for special favors at the expense of their fellow citizens. I'm including here corporate welfare, race pimps, the Left, the Right and all others who have their hand out looking for those government favors.

This is what I've been alluding to all the time.

Well It's out of control now, K street junkies plying on our tax dollars, congressional scandles every other day, indictments coming down on congressmen, a president whom has commited treason and a few other impeachable offenses, cabinet members that rubber stamp bushes agenda, Rumsfeld waging an un-winable war, The govt. is out of control! So since I agree with you V what can you say. This is not your great grandfathers govt.

Taking the country to War under made up false pretenses resulting in somewhere around 650,000 deaths, for one. Lying to congress and the american people. There's much more to come out once the Democrats take over congress and start congressional investigations of the White house, a feat that's been repelled by majority Republicans because they knew all hell would break loose. Stay tuned for this one Red. It will be very entertaining and maybe even that Devil Carl Rove will get his!

If you are going to impeach Bush for this, you'll have to impeach Clinton, Berger, Hillary, Madelene Albright, Kerry, Ted Kennedy ... ect. They ALL are on record of stating that Iraq had WMD. They were saying this long before Bush took office. Even the English, French and Germans were saying it ... all relying on various intelligence agencies.

In what century do you predict that to happen? Like I said in another post ... The Amrican people are smart enough to know that Democrats cannot run a country on hate alone. You guys will have to come up with a substantive plan between now and November. The fact is, the Democrats cannot reveal their TRUE agenda because they would NEVER be elected ever again ... not even to a dog catcher post.

I asked you to dis-prove it. The table is turned. No quotes from the Bush-Cheney Regime will suffice. Show me hard facts that 650,000 did not die in Iraq since Mar. 2003. Your always so eager to post "facts" from out your arse, get on with it! Or are you unable in which case I must assume that figure to be correct! I can say this, A major University (known for mathmatics) did the survey in Iraq. Just post facts refuting this claim!
