Interested in the led lights you use and would like to check yours ? Espeicially those inside pics , people only see the house , not inside , would like to see.
LED chip is just one part of led grow light

First of all, I'm not your "mate". Second of all, it doesn't matter what I use. It's the datasheets that matter.

Check the yellow circled areas.

Cree XPE:

Now the XPG2 datasheet:

See the different qualities?

Um, the numbers?
Yeah , what's your point ?
Here's the order of numbers, to help you better understand. Seems like you don't know how numbers work.

It all starts with "1".

Now that I taught you how to count, let's talk numbers on the Cree XPE datasheet, 3700-5300k, it is binned at 25C, Q3 bin gives you 93.6 lumens at 350mA, Q4 is 100 lumens, Q5 is 107 lumens, all from the same amount of power input.

Still with me?

The Cree XPG2 datasheet, same 3700-5300k as the XPE. The lowest bin, the Q5, at 25C, at 350mA, you get 121 lumens (higher than the highest XPE bin of the same color). Then you get 158 lumens from the R5 bin, still the same color and same power input.

If you're still having problems understanding, may I suggest this?:

before wasting your money.... If you plan on sinking more than a couple hundred dollars into your light,
BUILD IT YOURSELF!

That is actually a good number to work with as a median price (if not mean price) for a consumer's, market-entry decision.
However, it still leaves a large amount ( ~50%) of potential users unaddressed.
Just look at this ridiculous thing I found on a random search of AliBooboo:

There is still a market for more developed technologies at an intermediate level, but where is that next price break-point?
$500? $1000?

@Hgrow
....
Really now ...
Do you have even the slightest idea in what kind of growers you're presenting this grow of yours ?
Are you aware about the level of knowledge, intellect and experience of the members in the LED section of this forum ?
Seriously ,do you really think that because we grow and consume Cannabis ,we lack braincells ?
Have you any idea about the extensive research & development ,that has taken place inside here ?

The least I can say -at least speaking for myself -,is that I feel really insulted
just by the existence of your thread in the RIU's LED section .
You're insulting my intelligence.
Still,I'm kind enough to tell you a secret that obviously you're not aware of .

This type of LED lights -like the one you're utilising - we use them ,for some years now ,
as door stoppers or as christmas porch lights ,but not for indoor horticulture ....

Either someone has really misinformed you about what's going on inside here ,
or either you really think that you're the smart guy and the rest of us are residents of a mental institution .

Now,be kind enough, pick up your flimsy fishing gear, get on your boat and try to find another spot ...
You won't be fishing anything here .
All you can achieve ,is risking being eaten by sharks .
And we're many .

Please ,consider this as a friendly advice .

Cheers.

This thread should be moved to newbie section as a great guide on how not to grow MJ.

The lights aren't the greatest, but this guy is just straight up terrible at growing.
