FULL AUTO - Rnd 2 - Moby Dick XXL, Sensi Skunk, Tha Shiznit

Only one plant from the last grow topped 2oz, which was Star Ryder.

Around the 8th I popped 2 each of :

Moby Dick XXL from Dinafem

Sensi Skunk from Sensi Seeds

Tha Shiznit from Shortstuff


All 6 seeds popped with the paper towel/saucer/cling wrap method.
One of Tha Shiznit's looked runty after a few days so I popped another and that one was runty too! They germed all right but then stalled, the first one is growing ok but still small.

(starting under 400w HPS because thats all I have but will soon be switching to....)

400w Full Nova, air cooled hood
3 gal DIY airpots, 50/50 coco/perlite, a layer of Hydroton on the bottom and top.
OC+ and Cal-Mag

The skunk and moby dicks stretched a bit under the HPS but have now switched to the full nova and they all seems to be perking up and looking lush.

The skunk clawed up a little with the OC+ but the new growth seems ok, its seems some autos cant handle it early on. (example: Star Ryder)

Ridiculously stretched out skunks and moby dicks... and of course the shiznit runt I almost ditched is now my favorite.

Prob have to break out the ol tomato cages again on this one.

Cheers. Left top and bottom 2 x Shiznit, middle Skunk then right Moby Dick

I've noticed slight tip burn on the Skunks and really I've only watered each a half dozen times a party cup of
Ph'ed and cal-mag'ed water so if/when I run autos again I would like to try out some CNS17 in weak doses instead of OC+

Yeah I'm well aware of the hermie trait. It's one of the Sensi skunks. I pulled the balls off and will keep a close eye on the fucker.

At least I have the emergency Shiznit I popped if I need to ditch the skunk.

Bet your gunna need to can that bitch, fat balls like that this early probably means shes just gotten started

Wedged a carbon filter into the room.

Everything looks happy enough, except the skunk I found balls on (no signs of more...). She's looking a bit burnt and sad but I think she'll still produce something useful.

Vertical growth has stopped, buds starting to fill out. The skunks are the only ones putting out a decent scent (no more balls either).

Nothing is wowing me this grow, I think my run growing autos exclusively is done, prob just keep a couple on rotation to have something different going. I could have fit at least nine of these fuckers in there, the wasted space pisses me off.

The one skunk in particular is still getting burnt, pretty fucking lame... from just a sprinkle of OC+

All are burnt to some degree as well as the natural yellowing of finishing so the look pretty shitty

Yeilds are poor this time around... not sure what the problem was with this grow. I had some high temps and had to install an air con in the room, maybe thats it?

The only other change is the DIY air pots

Just weighed up after 2 weeks dry/cure. I'm ashamed to say...around 3oz from 6 plants :-(

Didnt get that one right but live and learn... autos are definitely their own beast

Still a lil fresh but....

Skunk smells spicy/fruity/skunky and seems an ok midway head/body buzz

Moby Dick doesnt smell and my least favourite smoke of the three

Shiznit wins for smells and high... sativa creative munchie buzz

combo of temps and overnute-ing killed my yeild and I suspect not rinsing the no-name coco I got cheap off ebay could have contributed too

I had one seed each left of the MD and the skunk plus a freebie auto NL so I popped em on paper towels then into jiffy pellets...might as well roll this thread onto the next one... same strains.

As soon as roots showed through the pellet I potted into 3 gallon nursery pots with re-used and THOROUGHLY RINSED coco/perlite, hydroton res and cap.

They're gonna go the full stretch under the 4 x T5s in the veg tent with very light AN Ph perfect 3 part and a dash of calmag.

2 weeks old and very happy... the NL in the middle is a couple days younger, skunk on the left
