Need help with cloning ASAP

It's a weed - very hard to kill unless you overwater or overfeed!

I get 100% just sticking them straight in soil.

Subcool throws a open ziplock bag over the babies as a dome for a few days. I just let mine get full exposure.

oh yeah, how to..Cut a 4-8" top, throw it right into a bowl of cold water so it floats around, leave it for 5-10 mins. the cutting will absorb water while in there, increasing it's reserves. I'm assuming you're in soil? Fill some cups or something with damp soil, poke a hole in the middle about half the depth of your clones. Take clone out of water, cut about 1/4" off bottom at an angle, strip all ffoliage up to the top set of fan leaves and growth tip, cut those fan leaves in half. scrape stem about halfway up, dip in rooting aid, stick in hole in dirt and pack dirt around it. cover with a dome of some sort, an inverted cup works well, or cut 12oz soda bottle. Take the dome off a couple times a day for a few minutes, give it a shot glass of water if it looks droopy, keep temps above 70..take a couple just in case..

Do you put the clone directly under light while you have it in the dome?

So since the Promix is accounted for in the "Grow" and not the cloning process my clones cost me nothing and my overall success rate will be 89% after this run. That said, I would love an aerocloner...but as I fill up my room with 6 plants it would be hard to justify.

Edit: Forgot that I do utilize a rooting hormone at a rate of about $.0002 per plant. :bigjoint:

I am using 18oz Solo cups today with potting soil(first I soaked the seeds until they split a tail)now just 3 days later the plant is up and running...they are in the sunshine(shade 70% of the time)never tried the cutting straight into soil yet!

man i swear cloning is the easiest thing in the world for me i got a 3 gal tote that for under 25$ i converted to a bubble cloner, and I have about a 95% root rate for all my clones which are often taken about 2 or 3 weeks into flower, and all i use is a razor blade and tap water

hey bro jus wanna say ppl talk lot of shit without themselves experimenting it..they just read n blurt out that knowledge without actually knowing if its true or false....infact i take clones from a flowering top..which is way into 5-6 weeks of flowering....dis is something calld monster cropping...if u take clones from a nice flower top n u reveg....it will give out 5-6 diff shoots which eventually turns out to b all colas without u topping it ....so yeah taking clones frm flower n revegging u will give u some crazy dense grow with 5-6 colas or more ...heres a pic f mine ..i took a clone frm a flowering plant n see what it is now ...here check out the pix ..

n i must go with u ..infact i clone with just plain water ..thats it ..no gel nothing

righ now i got an old dog shit grow goin...12 ladys in da gh bitch's was into flower by may now it be july and i pulled 10oz top bud from them lady's now with all dis sun shine they went on to veg mode so i cover them up now and gives em 12 dark man so maybe i try this clone shit out on them tomorrow

jus reveg it instead of cloning..cuz it will need to spend energy ntime on building its roots again which is already there in ur mother....harvest all leaving few bottom tops here an there

Definitely looks like a sativa. In need of fertilizer. If you don't have any fert, get some cut grass, cut weeds, and some banana peels, plus whatever fruit or veggies you don't want, mix it in a large bucket, stir it everyday for a couple of weeks or so, and then you can use it as fert. Also pissing in a jar and mix it with 8 parts water 1 part urine, will work while you wait... Use the urine fert as soon as you make it... Old urine mixtures develops ammonia, and will kill your plant

I took cuttings from mine a week or two into flower.
Didn't even use any rooting hormone or anything, cut them, straight into water, then into their pots with soil. I did more than I needed as I thought they had very little chance of surviving and after a couple of week they all rooted!!

Man this brings back memories from when I was a child. I use to pee on my moms plant after she watered them, while the soil was wet. I did this for years as the the pot was in the hallway to the bathroom. The plant looked good. As a kid I though my pee stinks and it don't kill plants, cool. One day my mom didn't water and I took a pee. The next day my mom asked if I pissed in the pot and I told her yes. She asked me why. I said well I've been pissing in the pot for a long time and nothing ever happened, even with other plants in the same pot. she called me a liar saying the plants would have died like this one is going to. Now, today I know why that plant died 38 years ago. Learning is Power. Thanks dude, and Welcome to RIU.
