For any challenge, I feel all parties involved should do the honorable thing and be straight up. No sucker punches or below the belt shit.

But for the record you should go into the cfl section and ask about their average yield. This is my biggest argument against a blanket statement of gpw for newbs. Different lights are going to have an impact on yields. Same with knowledge and experience.

I agree with you 100%. My apologies if I didn't make myself clear but the equation was for using hps bulbs. That's why I said he could be using cfls for all we know and that would definitely yield less than a hps bulb.

Damn! Sorry for coming off like an asshole. I was just trying to help people out. I don't think .40 gpw is unreasonable for a first time grower using hps lights. Your grows look top notch. Very envious.

You nor I can say this grower will yield .40 gpw because we don't know what lights he's using. My equation was simply a guide to what a first time grower will typically yield on their first grow if the environment is right. He could be using cfl's for all we know and not hps. My equation is a guide.

I am very new to this but yet I know some basics that's about it.... BUT your equation is a little retarded...answer this how do you minus your "funk ups" ? How do you make your funk ups to points of a gram? I have learned the basics of growing from local farmers and they would laugh there ass of and probably smack the shit out of me if I told them I'm follow your equation....like I said if your using cfls low ball your numbers especially for a first time grower with the zstretchiest plants .1-.3 x gpw at the MAX.... so if I use to much nutes and burn my plant does that equal .3? Or .8?
