What does any law have to do with a political decision to require illegal immigrants to integrate into society as a condition of legal status?

It is entirely reasonable for an immigrant to the US to learn English. I would expect to have to learn Spanish if I emigrated to Mexico. It's just common fucking sense to want an integrated society.

I find it funny/disturbing evertime I hear the argument "why should I have to press 1 for English"
NO one is forcing companys to be bilingual except their willingness to profit off the Hispanic community
