Sorry... Have to disagree there if you have room for a veg room then you can overlap and get way more output. Better quality too from larger plants imo
Can't comment on quality, you may be right. Let East Coast do his grow his way and see the result. From my limited experience I feel that the most important factor is filling the canopy: making the most of your light. You can do this two ways
1. Veging a few larger plants out to fill the space
2. Having lots of small plants that take up the same area
Say you're aiming for .7g per watt which is doable - 600w light, 420g or 15oz. To get that you could do 3 plants, veg for 6 weeks and flower for 10 and get 5oz a piece. So you've done 0.043 grams per watt per week.
OR you could do 20 plants 12/12 from seed over 11-12 weeks to get the same amount = 0.064 grams per watt per week. So you have the same weight of bud but its taken you 5 weeks less to get. There is also nothing stopping you doing this perpetually too, no need for a veg room and you've had to run your lights for 5 weeks less. Major downside I have found is the trim always takes longer on smaller plants.
No disrespect brother, just highlighting some people use different methods to get the same end result.
