It simply wont stop flower!

Hey guys this is my first grow. I just closed week 8 of flowering. I have been told my strain flowers for 8 weeks. My lady seems nowhere to be ready. It Keeps on shooting new pistils. My cola leaves just started turning yellowish. I do not have scope. I judge by the color of the pistils.

I need professional advise.
How long do you recon it would take to finish?
How much roughly would you say it yields?

couple weeks, 8 weeks is a recommendation, some don't even start counting until it shows buds, about 2 weeks into flower, so a 8 week could really mean 10

Try using a scope to cheque the Tricome to see if the cloudy if not there not ready just wait till Tricome turn from clear to milky then it's bout ready

Thanks for the info. You believe in a couple more weeks she would be ready? Also how much would you guess is yields? I know you can't be accurate on this one but an oz +/- isn't a problem. As my first grow I have no idea how much to be expecting.

Probs about an ounce and a half roughly, but who knows. Also, dont get excited when you cut the plant down and the buds weigh a fuckload... they will lose about 75% of their initial weight during the drying/curing process

lol dont worry dude, for a beginner, an ounce-ish per plant is pretty good, even experienced growers sometimes grow the odd plant or two that doesnt yield too well. That's not important though, I guarantee you that the fact that YOU'VE grown it will make it that much better for you!

That is a beautiful plant you grew there. We all get the temptation to cut early, but wait at least one weeks or a little more. You're buds will fatten up the white pistils will recede into the buds. A small investment for future use would be a 60x jewellers loupe.

When you buy seeds online there estimate finish is normally of by a week on most seed banks so if they say 8 weeks you can normally push them to 9

I'm sure you will get more than an ounce I mean in the picture this looks like it could easily be a 4 ounce plant after drying but that's why you should wait and see yourself you will never know till its dry

I beleive he will have more than an ounce because he said he has had it for 3+months my plants I stick straight into flower after week 3 then I let them do the flowering and I have never pulled a plant with less than an ounce dry so he has at least 3 to 4 ounces maybe more seeing as the amount of tops he has on his plant compared to my 1 top plants

try clipping only the top good sized colas first and let the lower buds grow 10 days extra until they are bigger.
Just like a tomato plant...we only pick the nice ones.
Lay the harvest on a drying rack
