What mix u using ruby or u in the dirt???
Last year i used this stuff for the first time in 70 litre bags...its made by brunnings i just added 20% perlite to it with rocket fuel pellets added to it.
I liked it cos i didnt want no soil mix that had slow release in it as i wanted to control my own hence the rocket fuel pellets.
Filled a 1x1x1m hole with the mix (approx 400litres soil) for a close on 2 lb plant.
;)

sounds great, you have it dialed in pulling 2lb plants, dont change your method...

Funny that was just discussing with the wife about adding the mushroom compost this year which i have a 25l bag ready but she said do you really wanna add anything different if your doing the same strain again ?..she has a point as most woman seem to lol...so ill just stick to mostly the same i think.
I havnt seen under 30 oz from a wonder woman plant yet from 3 that ive seen.

ruby fruit is on the right track, you may find better experience from there than me, often i dont use potting mix for years as i just fortify the already reasonable soil in my area & just plant straight into the ground, with your potting mix you can add the growth & bloom ferts additionally as explained earlier & not totally rely on the supplied ferts from the mix manufacturer

beware beware beware about some of those mushroom composts, theres critters lurking in some that are truly destructive & very difficult to diagnose

And it wasnt till i read your post about it that im now thinking twice about using it ...thanks for the heads up.
seriously if you have never had the invisible mite(broad mite) you are a very lucky person, these suckers are absolutlly invisible to the naked eye, only a very powerful loupe can detect them, they seem to only eat the hairs off the buds but do it very quickly, this will totally stunt the plant with no more growth, the buds are unsmokable with a taste of burnt rubber, ive found a good product that gets rid of them and if used early enough some plants can be rescued http://mite-rid.com/
the mites came with mushroom compost i brought into my grow area of 20yrs with no real bug prob before

Screenshot_2015-08-02-22-57-56.png Just looked back thru my thread from last season seems i used a heap of stuff i brought from bunnings but that easy wetta soil was only a minimal amount.
Used a premium soil (7or8 bags) and just added some of the brunnings easy wetta to help as its a nice light fluffy soil for gd drainage.Ill never not mix in a percentage of perlite again especislly handy if your in the ground doing soil mix in a hole surrounded by clay type dirt.
Some of this stuff was for general gardening not just the mj

Only had spider mites.
I treat my.plants with a 2 to 3 weekly spray of stuff to keep those bad boys away.
Last year was almost trouble free but year before sucked with mites but i didnt do any soil preperation till i met a few top growers on here in outdoor section.
Thanks to 2 of them i had my best yield outdoors

Everyone must be workin.. done a little R&D neutrog fertilizers are an easy get.. amgrow not so easy! Gonna run that searles and take the slow release out and chuck in rocket fuel or rapid response or rooster booster either way I think they are a similar product..

With bloom most guys hit with pk 13/14 i understand that u need to back of nitrogen and start adding more P and K Does a potash product usually achieve the same result or am I better to use a bloom booster or a pk13/14..

in searles potting mix during bloom stage i run as mentioned previously bat guano(bloom) & dutchfest A & B bloom 50/50, that means at half strength each because im combining them together, then mid flower stage i add the PK13/14 together with the other bloom nutes just mentioned for 3 doses 4 days apart, so thats only 3 doses of PK13/14, just use clean water tween nute days, i use the canna bloom accelerator in every bloom fert application as well following the directions on packet, shit is as expensive as fuck but it does something good i think, final 2 weeks b4 harvest absolutely nothing but clean water
ps of course any A & B bloom fert such as canna or advanced nutrients etc can be used instead of dutchfest bloom
ps again i also use this exact same fert regimen when growing in the ground, cant do it too often in the same spot as salts buildup but works well for some years in a row

Mmm thanks georgio838..
What variety of searles u use there matey?? I've done a few grows and I'm ex horticulturist but got me
Fucked on this searles I realize I'm playing with an inorganic potting mix to start with then I'll be throwing in organic material. say if I do go that route do I cook it for a bit..

I try to stay away from soul that has slow release but sometimes its hard.
And ryan i had another half empty 20litre bag of perlite to add to that soil.
If say going in the ground a hole that will yse 100 gallons of soil ( 380 litres ) i know thats a 2 lb plant yield providing the strain even just yields average.
My mate and i got 4.5lb of 2 plants but his was (450litres) and a extra hour a day sun
