What size pot has given you the most success

I stopped growing about 3 months ago with the plan to remodel, and go from hydro to ROLS no till. I about got the room done. Im fixing to order soil stuff and pots.

The plan was 10 20 gallon pots. 5 in bloom 5 in veg. However, im a personal grower. And i read about people getting several pounds per harvest out of 1 pot. I really dont need that. My household consumes about 1.5 oz/week. So im only needing to grow 2 lbs ish per harvest. (a little extra so i can start playing with concentrates)

So my question is, if im wanting to harvest 5-6 ounce dried per plant (5 plants in room) what size pot has people used or seen to give that result? im open to a few more plants (no more then 7) with smaller pots. as long as the pot can handle a no till perpetual grow. Just looking for that set up that good on money and fulfills my needs.

Lights is 1 600 vertical barebulb (thinking of bumping up to a 1k)
1 4ftx8bult t5 veg. (and using the 600 here)
room is 8x8

If you have instagram, go check out mountainorganics and plantandprosper. They both use large 45+ gallon containers with a lot of success. Mountainorganics even runs 200 gallon beds that he runs ~4 plants in under a single light.

I started messing with 3 gallons, then went to 5 gallon buckets, now I favor 20+ gallons or more. The more root space you have the more your ladies will produce. One of the biggest things I've realized about organic notill is that bigger root masses are better over almost anything else you can do/use/etc.

if wattage is a concern i'd bump it down to a four bulb t5 for your vege with a couple supplemental LEDs, then take the remaining wattage available and bump your flowering to two 600s.
Two pounds off one 600 is gonna be pretty difficult
I like 7 gals for untrained and 12s for manifolded/trained plants.
I have done 2 strains in one 15 gal smartpot with good results as well. Untrained.
The longer you vege for the more room you'll need.
Typically for untrained plants, my rule of thumb is 2 gallons per foot of vertical growth.
