yea goats are next spring for us, gogin to put them on the side where your trailer is. I would love pigs, but would want to own the land as they seriously root around and make a mess that a landlord would prob hate.

thanks again bud for coming over and helping with the coop. Misses likes it, and I like it. Hope you like farm fresh eggs! wont be long now!

have you considered heritage hogs? they are smaller and many have red meat more similar to beef than modern pork, they are also much smaller and can be raised on forage as well as kitchen scraps.

I just hate how inefficient cows are at producing meat (thats why I have the american chinchillas) and pigs almost eliminate the need to ever discard food which cuts down drastically on food waste which is a huge problem in our country. plus cow farts are like the leading cause of global warming, just get more rabbits :) lol

great idea:) cow farts are no joke
i raised "belted galloways" a heritage highland breed of cow such good meat and neighbors do "red wattle hogs " love that LARD and BELLY!! but chooks and ducks eat scraps soooo its a no brainer right??

yea i have more uses for a cow than just eating it. in fact as a family we may eat beef once a year.

Looking great bro you can tell they're taller than the pics you posted a few days ago. Sticking some plants outside on Sunday after this family get together we are having. I wanna see what mines can do lol. Gonna have to do some major training tho to keep them low as they'll be in this plastic shed I have. Took the top of it

what else can cows do besides milk and meat? my pigs can do tricks, cleanup garbage/yard clippings and carcasses and make bacon lol all that and they only have a single gut like us so less farts!

I think the coolest thing is you get to raise the piglets when there all cute and easy to handle and as soon as they hit that "ugly" stage unlike dogs and kids you can just process them and start with some new ones lol

Sweet the mini split is working. When I get one you gonna have to walk me thru setting it up. that plant outside is getting huge. It is already bigger than my c99 which yielded 1 lb dry weight so I bet you gonna get 2-3x more per plant.

when we were getting a breeding pear in LA is when we found out the land that was ours and we put our house on was not really ours. that was the start of us wanting to move badly enough to leave our place vacant and moved to South LA. Plants look great MO:)
