thanks Rdale...this grow wasn't picture perfect as I'm still wondering why all the dead leaves.... last year they all stayed green until harvest day.

on the other hand not a big deal.....things could always be better but you take what you get and hopefully do better next time

the girls are still sitting in the dark room, will likely start the chop soon

Now comes the hard part imo the dry/cure.

But your jack looks pretty damn good and towards the end started to look similar to mine. For your sake I'm glad yours didn't go like 110 days like mine did.

Any plans for what's up next? I myself am waiting till I move to get my next one started which hopefully should be a bit bigger of an area than a closet.

thanks for following along...as you were the first to comment on this thread...cheers

these were about 96 days from sprout to harvest....I think supplementing with CFL/LED bulbs to provide a 20/4 day made the difference, and also we had near perfect weather, sunny but not hot.

last year the DLF finished in 90 days, which I supplemented with CFL lights as well... the others took longer but other factors were at play

I don't think I'll grow auto's until next summer, as I want to try something different for my winter grow (600 w HPS), which will start in the fall.

Going to see what my local seed stores have to offer.

96 days isn't bad, my jh still wasn't 100% finished when I decided to just chop it anyways. What local stores do you hit in CO? I have quite a few seeds I'm just sitting on and can pass to you if your interested.

There are several seed shops in Vancouver, plus Crop King..... BTW: it's legal to buy/sell/own MJ seeds in Canada

CO - Colorado? would be a long drive for me...but thanks for the offer

Another great grow ISK. You're the only grower I've seen grow great pot in the living room. I'm sure you're correct on the non-natural light assist helping. And thank you for the root porn shots, I still get excited to see the root density of a hempy.

So if you are going with some non autos, will they be fems or full on regs with the potential making seeds???
Will you be steppin' up the hempy size? 2 gal / 10 liter? Maybe bigger.

I would prefer fem's but maybe not...I have a new Marc Emery store in the hood so I'm going to see what they have to offer

Jela10 had grown some DNA Sharksbreath....I would like to try this strain, as he said it didn't smell, this would work well for me.

The 1 gallon waste bucket I used this year was doing extremely well...too bad it was a male but I like that size of bucket and will try it again.

cheers

Got the buds in jars at about 65% RH ....most buds are firm and looking/smelling really good

So the total weight difference between the two plants was only about 3 grams...the DLF was big for a dwarf

The Jack Herer .....approx 76 grams

P8110003.JPG
The DLF....approx 73 grams
P8110006.JPG

she all done now...just a daily burp of the jars for awhile

cheers

Now that the buds have cured for a few weeks, it's time to sample

The DLF is really tasty, and produce a great yield for a dwarf....this is by far my favorite as this strain has had no issues at all.

Crop King fails again and continue to deeply disappoint me as the Jack Herer has seeds in the buds.

The seeds are small but matured.....have found just a few so far, but have only sampled a couple of the smaller buds

So far with the 5 strains of Auto-Fem's from Crop King
  • Some of the Revolvers and Early Miss required 12/12 to trigger (other words non-auto's)
  • Had an Early Miss that was a male (how often do fem seeds produce males?)
  • And now a Jack H with seeds (hermie)
  • issues germinating the Candy Cane (maybe my fault, who knows)

From my own little auto grow, I would 10/10 recommend the dedoverde haze from humboldt seed org., then a 7.5/10 for the auto seeds candy kush as they finished about 2 weeks longer than stated. I would not recommend the sensible seeds jack herer as it took forever to finish I cut mine at 110 days.
