How do i discover my mother plants from seeds?

Well i have a problem. I have now grown up 30 days my seeds and now its time to select strongest and healthiest mothers for cloning but how i can find their sex if i dont but them 12/12 ?

Or should i put them 12/12 for about 1 week and then turn it back to 24/24?

well they have been vegging for 30 days mate.

But is it bad if i use 12/12 for 1 week and then turn them back 24?

no problem with turn back them after 2 week of flo, except you retard the developement during this time and the stress to return in veg. also you can just cover one head with black bag or scott towell tubing to sex the plant and the rest of the plant dont be stress

Actually i have 2 rooms... all my plants are right now in flowering room. There i will select the strongest mothers and put them in veg to another room and rest i leave in flowering room to grow and yield. But im just worring about my mothers in another room are they gonna make it?

Cover 1 branch with something that will not let in the light, do this to each plant you want to sex. 12/12 in 2 weeks you will know. You could also take a clone and flower it to see.

if i wanted to see sex early i would vegg for 4 weeks then put into 12/12 for 2 to 3 weeks till they show sex.
keep the females, and then put back on 24/0 vegg and use for mothers.or just take a cone and flower that.

I just want to safe anser for this: Will they be O.K if i turn flowering plant to back to veg in eraly stage of flowering?

yes it would be ok, just dont stress your plants and get a timer, for 12/12.
and no light leaks in the dark period.

The easiest way is to take clones off your prospective mother candidates then sex those clones while you continue to vegetate the candidates. In about 2-3 weeks those clones will determine the sex. Be sure to label clearly the clones because you dont want to accidentally mistake labelling a male as a female or vice versa. I have heard others try to sex the entire plant but the problem is if you revert your eventual mother to the vegetative state after being in the flowering state it takes weeks for that occur and it also confuses the plant which could cause hermaphroditism.

do you know you can buy just one seed?.
are you from the uk?.

Well mate i dont have hydro or aero, i grow with soil. so its a bit impossible me to take clones from 20 plants and try them all to se what sex they are? i dont have that much room.

I just need to hope that my plants wont get transexual.
