Donald Trump Leading The Republicans

So you redefine "has no chance",...Dude, has no chance means the same as has no chance......anything in between don`t matter, High tide is not low tide, no chance is no chance.
I'm very sorry but when it comes to politics there is no such thing as a black and white issue, even moreso when it comes to things such as polling when you have to consider margins of error. The reason why Trump has no chance is that if he gets the GOP nomination, there will be enough pissed off Republicans that will vote 3rd party that a Democrat will get in. If Trump doesn't get the GOP nomination he's speculated about running 3rd party, which then he would not get enough votes and would draw votes away from the GOP and put a Democrat in office.

Trump is the GOP's Ross Perot. There is nothing similar between Trump and Truman, at all, other than they were both "behind" at some point, but the point still stands that Trump is the leading GOP candidate in the polls at the moment.

Go further,...tell me why they should care what Trump says about Rosie and a TV journalist ? Men gonna vote other because he said something about the war hero ? So who`s giving him the lead with all these dropouts ? If men wont support him and women wont, Who`s carrying him,....the fishes ?

So you value the single party nomination favoritism deal thingy ? You said everything except what you conveniently left out, ...Should he win the Office.

To answer your question: No I do not value the single party nomination favoritism deal thingy (whatever that means). It's just a simple fact that there are the following possible outcomes: Trump gets the GOP nomination, and loses to a Democrat. Trump doesn't get the GOP nomination, and loses to a Republican and a Democrat, or Trump stops running.

Should he win the office of Presidency? No, absolutely and positively not. He is not qualified in any way to hold the Office of President beyond being a "businessman." Idiocracy was not suppose to be a predictive movie.

He said he would bring manufacturing jobs back to America? What manufacturing jobs? Those are long gone unfortunately and have been replaced by machines. On top of that even now China is losing low-wage manufacturing jobs to Vietnam and Bangladesh.

He says immigration is a problem? His companies have brought in thousands of foreign workers on short term visas so they can treat them like shit.

He has no stated foreign policy, he has no stated economic policy beyond 'I'll be the greatest jobs President ever' and 'I'll bring back nonexistent jobs to the US,' he has no domestic policy beyond 'we live in a too PC culture.'

You know what? I actually want him to get the GOP nomination so he can get slaughtered in a debate.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make the horse drink. Notice how I never said anything about any of the issues that you brought up yet you act like I said all those things.

Oh, by the way? I've had the same Doctor for the past 8 years, through private insurance to ACA so I guess he didn't lie, did he?

Since we're going to assume things about each other (no, I'm not a big fan of Obama's - or most of the past Presidents since FDR - foreign policy) go back to sucking down whatever Fox News or Alex Jones force feeds you to keep you in a scared, gullible state.

There are so many major differences between Truman and Trump and the 1948 Election and this election cycle that it's completely disingenuous to say "Truman and Trump are the same because Truman 'had no chance' and everyone is saying Trump 'has no chance.'"

I mean let's just start with the very fact that Trump is LEADING the GOP right now, and Truman was an incumbent President with a 36% approval rating and he was... a... Democrat - a Southern Democrat at that. On top of that you had Strom Thurmond running for President for the State's Rights Democratic Party which was Truman's Southern Democrats all abandoning him. Trump has no political clout like that.

Moreover in the lead up to the actual election Truman went on the famous Whistle-Stop campaign where he traveled some 30,000 miles by train doing stump speeches and along the way more and more people showed up and it was becoming clear that Truman was gaining a LOT of ground. The only reason why it looked like Truman 'came from behind' was because Roper, Crossley and Gallup (the three largest pollsters at the time) had all stopped polling well before November.

Anyone who's studied American history and American politics would know this. You are literally comparing an apple to a shitty half peeled orange that has had the top peel put sloppily back on.
Lol at the shitty Orange peel toupee imagery! NICE!

I for one am thoroughly enjoying all these tidbits about presidential elections of the past, please continue!

Now you go paddy buck on me,...what credibility can you hold by telling me I listen to FOX news or this jonesey guy ? I don`t but you say I do, Nobody digs that anymore.

You said Trump`s not qualified, How come that wasn`t brought up in the Debate ? Where`d my doctor go,...oh ya, I still have him but can`t afford him. But I can tell you a lot of people who now don`t have the same doctor but wish they did.

Donald Trump is a sexist bully. And while this may play well with his right wing base, it's not going to win him many votes elsewhere. That's not going to get him elected in a national forum. He's the republicans worst nightmare at this moment...
