How hot is it getting? Do you have any alternative ventilation (are you cooling the lights/reflector)?

Use an intermittent schedule tomorrow. E.g. set your timer for the lights to go on for an hour every couple hours, or whatever can be tolerated. Note that I don't think this is good for the bulbs (someone correct me if I'm wrong), but what else can you do? Otherwise you need to make sure your room is totally light-tight and attempt to switch your lighting schedule to running them at night when it is cooler, e.g. on 9 pm to 9 am.

i don't think you'd want to give plants 2 weeks into flowering anything but a solid 12 on/off or they're gonna hermie like heck i believe.

can the OP not run the lights without the A/C was my main question.

Nulis it's about 84-85.I also have a carbon filter running with 440 cfm fan, ventilating out the top of the tent.open hood, so I'm cooling the tent. Thanks for the help. Keeping it green

That's not too bad. Indoors much over 86 isn't typically desirable; some strains are more heat-resistant than others. As long as you're around there you should be alright. Might want to raise the lighting though.
Otherwise intermittent lighting shouldn't stress the plants and it is certainly better than prolonged virtual darkness. If you have any kind of fluorescent light, just have that go on when the HID lamp goes off. Were you already running your lights at night? Or is 10 pm to 10 am supposed to be the light period?

Are you just venting outside the tent into the actual room? You'd definitely see an improvement in temperature if you had an air-cooled reflector. You'd probably want to vent it outside or something though, that could also help.
