Lights just went off but snapped this before I closed room. The yellowing of the veins. More prominent on a cpl diff nugs. Do a cpl more pics tomorrow. I might just be paranoid, could just be left over signs of deficiency I already took care of. Maybe it's just them naturally doing the turning yellow thing but it seems different to me.IMG_20150812_005412.jpgIMG_20150812_003500.jpg IMG_20150810_212151.jpg

Fuck that is a beauty, any close ups? strain?
It seems to me scrog is the best way to tame a monster

@xMaYHeM @MoMoGrows on your next runs try it with out removing so many of the fan leaves. Your plants look good, but I gasped every time I saw y'alls plants with out fan leaves. I don't think there is anything wrong with lollipopping or light pruning of a few leaves here and there, but you guys went full defoliation and that is actually counter productive. Those fan leaves are like solar panels generating energy for the plant.

Yea its not as bad on the others, but yea I was pretty stoned and had just gotten my script of vikes so I was a little loose while doing it. Buds are swelling up nicely still.

Feminized Andromina strain I got as a freebie from Attitude a while ago!

Vegged for a month and a half with heavy LST I had strings and hooks everywhere

Now my baby beast is in her 2nd or 3rd week of flowering. I forgot to note down when I switched the lights so I'm not quite sure, although I'll know when they're ready.

13.5L pot 600w HPS

Bonus pic! My bagseed bubba, she is absolutely perfect.
Not to rain on your parade. But did u over feed ur plant get tip burn and cut them all off to take the picture? Why are all the leaves cut in half??

Nah man, the fan leaves on the tall cola were huge! Blocking light from the lower bud sites.
Most of the photosynthesis happens on the base half of the fan leaf; so if you need to, you can cut them in half so that the light can get through.
That's why my lower bud sites are almost just as thick and dense as my main cola

Having some troubles with PH at the moment.
My canna terra pro is at <5 PH and I can see the damage being done to the plants.
I am using PH up in my solution but cant seem to get the soil to balance out at 6+

You can't change the PH of your soil after the fact. You would have to use amendments mixed into the soil to adjust it. Soil buffers PH so it will adjust what you are pouring into it. If the PH of your water is far enough off it will effect the roots but it wont change the soil.

I also LOLed at this....^^^^^^^^^^^

The flowers do not use light like you think they do. Removing valuable leaf mass is working against you. Also the entire leaf surface is used for photosynthesis not just part of it!!!

I don't mean to rain on your parade but there is enough bad info being spread around on the forums.

Botony look it up and read read read!!!!

Man it seems there are conflicting views everywhere
Light defoliating just seems to be common sense
You get soooooo many leaves without it and it's a clusterfuck of shit everywhere!
What's the point in lower leaves that are covered by multiple others? I know light penetrates but isn't it just a breeding ground for mould?
I'll do some reading on it though, because most people here are telling me otherwise.

I was thinking of adding a teaspoon and a half of dolomite lime and raking/watering it in, but the guy in the shop said it won't take effect for like 4 weeks, and the problem plants are due for harvest in 2 or 3
Is that true? Or should I go get some?

Update of OP, buds fattening up nicely, bit of yellow but whatevs, it looks pretty delicious with around 4 weeks left as its a sativa so I'm expecting 10+ weeks flowering

Defoliation is not common sense it is opinion!!! Those lower leafs are storage for the plant. just because they aren't in the lime light doesn't mean they are not useful to the plant! Air circulation prevents molds.
Dolomite lime takes a long time to work. It is used when you reuse your soil over and over like I do. I do not use Dolomite lime as there are better things to use. If the soil PH is out of wack it's out of wack!! You can't change it by pouring something into it. You have to set it up prior to planting if you are building your own soil. If it is bagged it should be good to go. Don't waste your time with the Dolomite at this point.

Flushed with like PH 10 water, the runoff came out at 6 and also added some.more PH 10 with nutes at the end of the flush
I PH tested the soil after and it was also 6
Is it healthy to feed PH 10?
I feel like it could be a bit iffy but it did the job!
