Auto fast and vast first pistols red/amber?

G'day from down under. First post on the site, have been a regular reader for a while now and found loads of help here. I'm currently on my first grow, just the one fast and vast auto indoors with CFLs.

Currently on day 64 and I have noticed that the first two pistols that she is producing are red/amber while most (around 98%) of older pistols are still white. The part which I'm confused about is that everywhere I have read says that they change colour when they age? Or is this not always the case and they are starting red because she is indica? Any answers appreciated! Would get pics but real busy, can get some tomorrow if anyone is interested.

Hey mate! I too am in Australia, Bro 64 days old, first two pistils??? Wtf?? Fast n vast is auto. Should show sex at like 21 days, i mean gimmie details. What you growing in, what nutes, you growing in cfl. How many? Wattage? Spectrum? All comes into play. Gimmie pics brother!

Have a look. Both 38 days old now, pics at day 30 sumfin.... tall one TD and small one BM.

Alright guys, those are some sexy girls you have bubblenut! Snakefeet yours are looking bigger and much more mature than mine at that age. Think I still have another 2 weeks to go. As this is my first grow I made a few mistake which slowed her down during the start of her life, hot soil, not enough perlite and too cold at night I think were the main problems but I think I have countered these now! She is only about 1 1/2 foot tall, will try upload some terrible pics, I apologize for the quality.

She did start showing sex around 21 days. By first pistols I mean the first pistols that pop out of the new bud sites are red and the ones that follow, or are on old budsites are white.

Setup: 125W CFL(red) -switched from blue and a 28W side CFL(red) both on 18/6
In 10L pot with terrible soil and worm casting mixed in, using Bio Bizz Bloom and some other fish stuff which was lying around. I stopped using the fish stuff around week 7 as she got fairly bad N claw.

I see. Could be a genetic thing mate. My think different has white as pistols, whilst alot of people on this site that too have grown this strain report pinking of pistols through development that return to white before maturing. Strange aye.... I would love to experience some nice colour variety. I have two trans siberians to grow next with two auto pounders with cheese. Apparently these have some colourful phenotypes. Gonna go dwc for them......

Chopped day 75 from seed. Chopped a little early but due to inconvenient grow location had no choice. Pretty impressed with the amount of bud considering the plant was so small. Over all pretty forgiveing and strong plant for first grow. Had an amazing amount of growth after week 5. Done growing until I relocate. Good luck to everyone with their grows and thanks for sharing. Will drop by here every now and then if anyone has questions about the grow.
