New guerrilla spot?

I'm trying to locate a new guerrilla spot for next season. My growing location now is too close to my house, and I've had a couple close calls this summer where someone almost walked up on my plants.

Well, I think I might have found a good spot. It's about a ten minute drive down a dirt road deep into my property, followed by a short 2-3 minute walk through the woods. It's on a south facing slope and looks like it will get full sun. The good news is that I'm certain no one will find it. The bad news is that it's very rocky, so I won't be able to dig holes in the ground. I'll have to plant in containers.

For those of you who plant outside in containers, what size should I use if I want to limit my watering to twice a week? Do you think a 15 gallon smart pot would be big enough to not need daily watering?

Hey man, looks like a good spot! Yeah I use 15 gallon regular grow bags and I get away with only going once a week. I usually try and mulch them though or try and cover the container with surrounding brush or wood etc. Though if you can go twice a week, that will be plenty in my opinion.

Some people have reported success using water retention crystals in the holes. Miracle grow makes 'em. Others prefer ripping diapers apart and using them, they absorb and hold lots of water. Good luck.

Put them in the ground. compost leaves around the top layer of soil. Holds moisture well.

The only other option which I usually use is planting near a spring, if you have any in your area.
