Home depot has 27gal HDX 4-pack of totes for $39.99.... lol... Can't beat that.

My problem with the HDX tubs is that the fuckers are BRITTLE and they crack all the damn time. The brand I get from Wal-Mart costs more but they're better.

The HDX tubs crack through the holes drilled in for bulkheads. Over time, most of my HDX tubs have done it.

That's not good. I haven't really tested the igloo water coolers over time but they probably won't crack,

I only ran mine for 6 months with full water capacity but they never showed any stress marks or anything of the such.

It was never water pressure that caused problems, rather it was the normal wear and tear and kicking hoses and configuration changes that stressed them.

The other tubs have had all the same kinds of abuse and not one has failed.

Actually I welcome the extra moisture MOST of the time but the past few years it's been wet as fuck .
Before that I didn't even own a dehumidifier and my hygrometers usually read 20 percent .
Not anymore.

What's the temperature of your chilling circuit? Mid to low forties is suggested for optimal dehuey. I have the same issue you do, and I'm adding chilling capacity to get my line temp down.

Set at 48f because that's where the aqualogic with no temperature control chills it down to. I've been running co2 so my temps are a little higher and my water varies from 48 to 55 or so. I have the 1/2 horse set to come on at like 50f I think.

Which reminds me, I'm out of co2 again, I think I'm gonna set the generator up with some water cooling but it will be passive. No chiller just 25 gallons of water.
