I think that they are spot on with the CBD strains. I avoided them for a while. I thought that a good sativa and coffee would do me good. It turned out to make me a ball of stress. CBD makes those feelings go away and forget it. I turn down the VAs meds. i am 70% PTSD and recently went to a C&P exam and supposed to raise it to 100%What are your views on Marijuana for treating Ptsd and other war related injurys....
I think that it has to do more with the big drug companies pulling thier weight in politics!I cannot believe, using evidence-based reasoning, that PTSD wasn't formally approved for medical use in Colorado -- a lot of veterans are using it anyway, under the authorized extreme pain prescription.
Cannabis is great for panic attacks, especially nocturnal attacks. Tora Bora is a wonderful strain, as well as the popular Purple Kush. Infusing indicas into coconut oil for a post bedtime tea also works wonders for restless nights.
Is that where you're from? New Brunswick here. My buddy geoff has ptsd from the military and my buddy Chris has ptsd from a traumatic experience, both smoke indica only and just do it in moderation like you say. They both agree that vaporizing somehow increases anxiety so they stick to smoke. I forgot to find out the medication my buddy used for his anxiety I'll send an email to him he's in Edmonton and I'll pm you.in newfoundland this guy on the news was trying to get easier medical marijuana access for 5000 vets on the island with ptsd, he said he smoked 10 grams a day to properly medicate but personally i find high doses of weed can cause anxiety but small amounts can definitely help my friend, i recommend getting a glass pipe and smoking very small bowls throughout the day i believe this will definitely help you, good luck
