Posting Photos of Yourself Online With Weed

I have a few friends of mine that post photos of themselves on Facebook with huge bags of weed and I never really thought anything of it until I read this article of people posting weed photos and trying to buy weed through Twitter. It seems like a no-brainer in retrospect but I'm really glad I didn't post any photos like that before hopping my flight to England. Totally could have given the wrong impression.

I know for fact that agencies check social media.

Two stories;

Harper was coming to my college to give a speech to PC supporters, when my friend found out she posted to Facebook that she was going to head up to the college on the day and spit on Harper. The day before Harper showed up, 2 plain cloths and a uniformed RCMP showed up at her door and told her that she wasn't allowed to go within x many meters of the college that day due to her threat against the Prime Minister.

Buddy was selling weed on twitter, watched who his followers were and thought he was really smart about it. A guy asked for a delivery of an Oz and when the buddy showed up, it was a sting and he got popped. They said that there was a complaint so they launched an investigation and that he was stupid for using social media, it was the first place they checked.

Wow. Your big brother sounds worse than ours. Most people I know have 2 separate FB accounts; one for the world in general under their true names, and one under a nickname that is just for friends where they can be their true selves. That seems smart. I hate social media (save for RIU) anyway, so I don't really post or care...

Nope not anymore came back stateside in February.. I work for gov contractors and did a high dollar contract in Juarez, high dollar because of the obivious risks not because I was undercover drug cartel or any bs like that.. so its like you gotta do time some place shitty (depending on your views) then you pretty much got dibs on a job anywhere..Albuquerque NM now 80% of the time anyway
