Dying leaves from overwatering

Hey guys, I admit I started another thread regarding this issue but I never create threads and want to figure it out.

I run perpetual, and have an Incredible Bulk & Great White Shark in early Veg. Theyre currently in Solo cups in Ocean Forest/Perlite. They had a rough start due to the hot soil but are bigger now Nd adapted to it.

My problem is, I believe I may have overwatered these two. They started yellowing @ the bottom so I gave them a dose of nutes (House and Garden Soil A/B.) I have drainage holes at the bottom, and only water when the cup gets real light.

I do have a pot thats about 1.5 gal, last time I went from solo cup into 3gal smart pot (the fabric auto pruning pots.)
Is that too big of a jump?

Does overwatering cause plants to look like mine?

No that's not too big of a jump, though if you're overwatering in solos, I'd suggest you don't jump to 3's.
Yes overwatering will cause your plant to droop like yours and feed on its lower foliage. You're drowning the roots, successfully halting your plants ability to uptake nutrients or breathe.
Looks like your also ready to up-pot. I always notice that I see problems arise a lot easier/faster when the root mass becomes crowded.
So if you're over crowding your roots and over watering, that's exactly why your plant looks like that.
Don't get paranoid though. Stop trying to correct it by feeding it more nutrients, you're only compounding the issue.
Up pot it, at least into something that can hold 1.5 times what your current cups can hold. When you do, don't water it, and wait a day or two until your medium is dry, but not bone dry to where it becomes hydrophobic.
Also, those damaged leaves will never correct and will probably still fall off and be consumed by the plant
It wouldn't hurt to angle a fan to blow over the top of your medium either to speed up the drying process.

Thanks. You helped me out too. Got the same problem in the beer cups... seedling already feeding on their lower leaves and i couldnt figure out why...until you mentioned the roots being stifled by too much water.

Thanks again...
