Flowering gone bad...any ideas? PICS

we'll find out, i was also flowering the entire time under cfl's, just introduced an HPS, i think they are definitely salvageable, if not I've definitely learned a valuable lesson about nutes... sucks it had to be this late into flowering though. yeah, i flushed the shit out of it earlier with tap water, lots of sediment came out so i have high hopes for the next week...

That, OR they got sunburn so to speak. It happens with corals that have been living under T5s or CFLs and then are switched to metal halide. Hell, it even happens to corals that were recently collected and put under metal halides because they may have been collected at depth (10' or greater). So, if it can happen to a wild coral that's been growing under tropical sun that's then placed under our artificial lighting, why can't it happen to plants that have become accustomed to weaker light?

ive been using the fox farm trio of nutes throughout my outdoor grow started with grow big now using the big bloom and tiger bloom in conjunction with the open sesame, beastie blooms, and cha ching every other watering and ive never seen anything like that. not trying to be negative or skeptical but those babies are toast. ill keep my fingers crossed for ya

thank you for all of your concerns... i introduced the hps for the last 3 hours of their light cycle last night, and from 8 am until now today... my third healthiest one began to show signs of the heat stress near the top cola, but i quickly took care of that and it should no longer be a problem... as for my two sick, they're leaves are VERY dry and crumble with ease... i flushed the hell out of them yesterday, and there is definitely water still in the soil, wouldn't the lock out explain why the plant isn't even taking up water? i'm going to introduce the h202 in about in hour, i'm with blazin on this one, if they make it a week, they will pull through... these next 3 days will let us know for sure... i was looking into the open sesame, beastie, and cha ching... how do they work for you? think it's something worth investing in? i'm definitely buying the FF potting soil for my 'heady' grow when i have more experience... i have a perpetual harvest, veg and bloom box, my next batch are some of the best bagseed i've ever smoked (apparently jack herer and blueberry haze) i trust the man with the jack, he probably grew it, the blueberry just came around my college and i was lucky enough to find a couple seeds, i might make a journal out of it... still a little sketch about posting on the internet

I'm guessing Lockout as well. I use Fox Farms - same products and I've never seen anything like this and I sometimes double the dosage. Do the flushing and give them lots of love. I would also think about transplanting them into a larger pot at least 2 gallons and water/feed only when your pots are dry (test by weight of pot). Good Luck !

the only problem with bigger pots is that they'll outgrow my box... they already have 3 times, had to do some late lsting but that was way before this... bigger pots equal bigger plants, and smaller pots keep them smaller right?

You are correct. Disregard the bigger pot than. I was just thinking you may be over watering/feeding since you need to water every day. So having a larger pot would allow for you to water/feed less. Peace

D'oh! Well... I was trying to think of other "options" without rereading the original post.In his original post he showed the sick plants and said "I've been flowering under CFLs, a little over 200 watts until my 150 watt HPS comes today... hopefully that'll bring them back to life". So it is not a light problem.

thanks for your advice maiden, i just gave them h202 today, if things get worse i'm going to start trimming and utilizing your advice... a part of me knows they're going to die, but there's the pot head side of me that's yelling GIVE THEM MORE TIME! lol...

FF nutes are (from what i have read and seen) supposed to be used every other watering. Nute burn also doesnt have to be yellow if it straight up kills your plant. Grab the FFnute chart online. I have it as my desktop background

Charts....These don't work correctly as each strain and for that matter each phenotype responds differently to nutes. Some Strains can take double or triple the nutes while some Strains can take barely any. I'm sure if you follow the chart you'll be fine.
