Your rly well-prepared i see. Never even heard of cooked soil lol. I have to learn all these basics first before I can try something like that.
Hey, TGA has a supersoil recipe that you follow. Nothing wrong with this method. He used to sell clones in SS and his customers would only add water. Seriously, its like following a cookbook or something. Its how I started. He says to not re_use the soil and that is where the gimmik comes in play. A company could make a killing by having thier brand on his recipe, cough cough, roots organic soil. We recycle our soil!
Espoma's bio tone has over half of his list, he recently removed blood meal and bat guano because of pot snobs.
Espoma biotone
Worm castings
PH buffer which will be your Cal/Mag i.e egg shell, crab shell, oyster shell, rock dust. Any one of them NOT all of them. Oyster and crab being most popular. Age it for 6 weeks minimum.
Its a poor mans list!!! This will be better than growing with soil/bottle fert. That is where I got two brown thumbs. PH problems and no way to fix them. Bottle fert kills the microbiology. Worm castings is the primary source of your microbes. Microbes fix the soil when you have most problems. Seriously, I have problems all the time, newbish, and worm casting tea fixes the yellowing and wilted leaves. I actually have to topdress with the biotone about week 4 of flower, depending on pot size to plant size ratio. I recently learned, 2gal for every foot of growth. I was getting root bound!
Easy list but Greasemonkeymann is showing me how the hippies in Cali are doing it.
