That sucks man, I'm sorry for your loss, but it's amazing they didn't take more than 4 plants. I don't want to get you paranoid dude, but you might want to think about beefing up security in case they decide to come back for the rest of the crop nearer harvest time. congratulations on the buddage though, looks like I'm out of the running for the prize.

Thanks mate, appreciate that. and yeah i just recently added surveillance and armor guard windows and doors all around my house. I dont think it was an adult, i think it was some punk teenagers who dont know anything about weed. they took mostly gaming systems and things my kids owned.

36! Michigan is sounding better suddenly. Fly fishing the Great Lakes area and grow my own meds, hell yes. I'm a spinal injury patient, significant nerve damage, so I'd probably qualify, yeah?

oh yeah you will qualify with ease. you have the right plan in mind, fly fish... and grow! if you have the right piece of land you can grow by your fly fishing stream lol I'm from MI as well. Love it here. Shrooming is good, fishing is good, we have beautiful 4 seasons! Summer is great here with all the fresh water.

walter, sorry to hear about your break in. do you suspect your kids told some friends that you have a set up there and they got ballsy and broke in or are they not of age enough to have friends that would do that?

i hate living in Canada.. anything and everything as far as growing is illegal..unless you have a commercial producers licence and grow specifically for the govt or have an online mail order website for your company.. which then only registered medical patients can order from..but of course being Canadian.. most cities have said fuck you to that law and allow dispensaries to be set up.. still somewhat following the rules of medical licence holders only.. or sometimes with doctors recommendation...
and cops if you have under 5 plants they just take em and say have a nice day..eh.. not even worth the court time..

as far as your yield.. if everything goes perfect you should get around 5 to 7 lbs...possibly more.. it really depends on the pheno you have.. worst case if something dumb happens..well donno..

as far as security goes.. im not sure on Michigan laws. but id buy a gun. and in all honesty Id probably shoot one of em.. The US seems to let people go easy for protecting their house...if they are kids they would learn to not fuck around anymore.

if possible keep the gun on you at all times.. and if not lock it in a safe that is bolted to the floor.. if your going to grow massive amounts of weed. you might not expect who or what is gonna try to get those plants..also never tell anyone what your doing.. even if its legal.. people, regardless of how well you know them.. can and will be assholes..

Ok guys here's an update, it kinda looks awful now, i had to string up a lot of the buds because when they broke in and chopped down the few plants they took they knocked over the rest of them why? i have no clue but im sure it was some young punks but these are the few pics ive taken, there in week 5. i still have 4 weeks to go and there budding up pretty darn good. Im guessing ill still get about 2 pounds hopefully, if they hadnt taken the plants they took id prolley say about 3-4 pounds easy but oh well, shit happens. The first pic is my ladyburn 1974, one of my favorite strains, its a cross between jack herer and ice dream. very potent and has a nice aroma, the next is my amnesia haze, very skunky and also very potent, and last but not least is my white widow strain. absolutely love white widow, gets very frosty around harvest time. I went through and plucked a lot of the leaves from around the buds like 2 weeks ago and that extra light penetration is really helping, since the break in i have a lot of leaves dying off now, idk if its because of stress or what. but i still think ill do pretty good.

You can become a care giver once you have your card and then you can start adding patients, its a little process but definitely worth it.

I totally agree bud, and thats the thing i dont tell anyone that i grow, maybe you guys but only because im anonymous, I travel a lot. My job requires me to travel to different cities and sometimes stay for days at a time, i believe one of the neighborhood kids didnt see my wife or my car in the driveway and decided to take a look, while i was away my wife was staying with her mom with the kids so the house was completely empty. I've been seeing a homeless guy wander through out the neighborhood these past few days im starting to get very suspicious, every one is the number one suspect in my eyes.

So despite having some of my plants stole and my house being broken into i managed to pull 2 pounds and 1 and a half ounces which i think is pretty good. if my other plants hadnt gotten stolen i probably would have gotten a little over 3 pounds, which is what i was aiming for but i think i still managed to pull a pretty good yield.

I was showing him one of my 1 ounce plants in soil, i was trying to make a point that i know what a one ounce plant looks like and the ones im flowring now are gonna be 3-4 ounces +/- the on in soil in the gray bucket was week 8 about to get harvested, the ones at the top still have 6 weeks left to flower but its the same strain, im sure there gonna be very dense. The oranges looking pics are the ones flowering now. week 3 today.

I Agree with the 4 Zips per plant at least. Too many variables to give you a better estimate than that.
