its a grt way to stress it out and have lil balls as well...that has been tried by many a person for a long time. read up on it....good luck w that
Oh, I thought I invented bud pruning. Oh well, good to know it's a great way to stress my plants out. They deserve it. Li'l buggers. But like I said, large buds are really just a bunch of small buds attached to a big piece of stalk. I always trim them down to pure bud by clipping those off until I get to the last small bud, which is the apex. Dunno why other people like their buds on a stick. I clean it down to pure flowers as I described and then compress them into a nice little brick, like 6"x4"x1" when dry. The whole thing is smokable since there's no stalk whatsoever. You just break a little piece off and crumble it up and smoke it.
Needless to say, I also extract the the resin from the trimmings, mix it with just enough alcohol and absorb it into the brick and dry it out in a microwave, like 30 seconds at a time, turning it back and forth so the alcohol doesn't pool on one side of it. The microwave drying also decarboxylates the THC-A to active THC, I'm guessing. One fool smoked a normal size joint of it and went into convulsions. Just couldn't handle his superbrickweed I guess. That's how you make super bud brickweed. It's about halfway between bud and hash. Of course you'll say it's crude but nonetheless it makes a good product which is not weak like plain bud and easier to smoke than hash.
I should mention that I leave the dried brick sitting out in the air overnight to absorb mositure from the air, otherwise it's too crispy. I also spray the buds with water to moisten them up before compressing them into the brick initially and I dry the brick in the microwave, like I do after soaking it in resin solution. At first, the moist bud brick expands in the microwave from the steam, but as it dries it pulls back into a nice uniform brick. Sweet, sweet resin soaked bud brick, oh yeah. Just like grandma useta make.
