id agreee, i once grew a big bang for two months, scroged and got just under a lbFor me it is about a 3 month veg. in soil starting from seed (organic). I would think a hydro set up with a big yielder would be a month or more faster.
You won't get a healthy 1lb with SS and water only in a 25 gallon pot, it will run low on nutes for sure and yellow out early. Outdoors you will be watering much more so it becomes harder to maintain organic nutrient levels without adding some back. You'll likely need to start feeding within a month or so of getting in the final pots.this is my aim.. here my next shot at it. depending on how my plants flower this time around I might go another round before I try this..
Outdoors is where I wanna do this.. Might be a stupid question but can this be done in a SS, water only?
and yes I planned on buying 6 20-25 gallon smart pots.
and also I'll be doing this twice a year and mess with photoperiod if need to.
and would lst scrog etc be necessary?
Fresh cut clone to chop, twenty weeks. This includes an eight week bloom cycle. I'm indoors, in RDWC.anyone, from experience how long does achieving a pound per plant take from start to finish..
two ways. one being from seed to harvest, and the other being from clone to harvest with the right strain and everything in tip top shape..
I'm here in so cal..
TIA
From seed 11-12 weeks total, 3 weeks veg 8-9 weeks flower 1lb is possible with the right geneticsanyone, from experience how long does achieving a pound per plant take from start to finish..

i agree 5-6 plants can do a pound in 7 weeks from rooted clone with no veg time knocks 4-5 weeks off the total timedamn that's a long veg time. Fuck all that. Run more plants and pull a couple pounds with the same light.
well where ever numbers are restricted it's usualy something like 6 plants or it's just a flat out illegal state. and if that's the case if your growing one might as well grow 6. Maybe a restriction to the grow area.i agree 5-6 plants can do a pound in 7 weeks from rooted clone with no veg time knocks 4-5 weeks off the total time
but some folk like growing big plants or have restrictions on numbers
Maybe he wants to grow 6 plants that are 1lb each lolif your growing one might as well grow 6..
actually that would be the best idea. My friend does that scrod 6 plants and pulls up to 1.5 per in promixMaybe he wants to grow 6 plants that are 1lb each lol
he said he is in cali so i do not think that applies to him
in other countries the count varies
Yeh i see a few folk doing those vertical grows, with a few kw on a few big plantsactually that would be the best idea. My friend does that scrod 6 plants and pulls up to 1.5 per in promix
+1 on this post. A PROPERLY mixed super soil or whatever you want to call it will flower the plant through the entire flowering process with just tap/rain water as long as your pot is big enough and you allow root growth in the new pot before flipping. If you have to feed, your pot isnt big enough. You need to run BIG pots starting at 20 and I would go for more like 25-30......Established root systems with a final transplant no closer to flower then 2 weeks!
Strain dependent on that 1 lb indoors is a factor too...........small running strains would not be coaxed enough to make it

if the shortest time is the goal, he should consider hydro+1 on this post. Exactly! Some people missed the fact that I transplanted into the final finish pot LATE in veg...In maybe a 10G pot (vegging) strain dependent...The new fresh soil should get you there if running an 8-9 week finishing plant (flip to harvest)...+1 on this post. From seed 11-12 weeks total, 3 weeks veg 8-9 weeks flower 1lb is possible with the right genetics
From rooted clone 13-14 weeks total 5 weeks veg 8-9 weeks flower over 1lb is possible
