My internets went out last night so I watched another one of these free DVD's I got. It was very cliched and predictable, it felt like I'd already watched the movie even though I had never seen it before. I'd give it a lower score but it has Juliette Lewis in it and she makes my panties moist.

I watched Chappie with the missus the other night. We weren't sure we'd enjoy ANYTHING after watching Fury Road recently.

We were pleasantly surprised.

Totally agree, loved it. I grew up in the southbay in the early and mid 80's as a teen. I was a punker but always loved NWA . Grew up in Torrance so I always dug that album was recorded in Torrance. Brought back a lot of great memories. I thought it was great and entertaining.

I was really impressed with the acting, and props to Dre and Ice Cube on the casting. Even Snoop looked legit. O'Shae Jr. was also fantastic, dude looks exactly like his dad except maybe a shade lighter, other than that, the mannerisms, speech, inflections and movement were spot on. It had comic relief, sad emotional moments and awesome chemistry all around. I thought it was really cool to see a little behind the scenes of the origin story, felt like it had to be made, I'm glad they did it. Also looks like a box office success, cool stuff

Stars Miles Teller. He's only a little bit older than me (I think he's 28 or 29). He's hot. I would let him fuck me.

Dopeman. ..that my shit....I'm originally from NY State...and man...in the 90s when it was all about bass...dopeman pounded hard

Fantastic movie! 9.5/10
Pro: Good acting, fun, exciting story, relatively scientifically accurate, fantastic cinematography, believable and Michael Peña killed the comic relief
Con: The soundtrack sucked

Probably my favorite movie of the year so far


I'm most looking forward to 'The Hateful Eight' and 'The Revenant' - both coming out in December
