Can I used both hps and ms lights in the same room

I have a 1000 watt convertible hps/mh I also have a 400 watt MH light
Can I run both of these lights at the same time during the flowering phase
Room is 6x8 tent, the 1000 watt is a cool tube with can filter, the 400 is just a bull no reflector no tube
The room is air conditioned so thems are pretty easy to control
I am growing 4 short indicas, and 2 of some kind of auto flower, I will cash to a 12x12 light cycle when
The auto flower is almost done (this was done only due to shortage and need for weed)
My question is can I run the metal halide light during the flowering phase of the indicas along with the HPS is it worth using both lights, or better to just use the 1000 HPS

I have been reading a lot (because i had the same question) and you can use both light spectrum's during flower. Besides the plants do get both ends of the spectrum during the season, were as more blue-less red/yellow in the beginning and more red/yellow-less blue toward the harvest period. You just want to replicate that as closely as humanly possible. As far as your lights compared to how many plants you are growing i would think 1000w would be sufficient but then again i am no expert. Maybe one of these cannabis conasaurs with a lot more experience then me will throw in their two cent. Anyways good growing man. Some pictures of the girls wouldn't hurt.

I love MH. Funny thing is I have never used one but my friends with smaller grows that veg with them have bad ass plants. I would like to buy a set of mh bulbs to screw in for veg

OP . You can use MH. The plants will be very happy to get both spectrums . Although your nugs may not be as fat under the MH the quality will be real nice

Yes it is worth your time to use both and get the full color spectrum. You could even get a 250w hps to use with your 400w mh for veg.
