The Truth About the Economy

I'll do it when and if I must, but I refuse to hand the nomination process over to the highest bidder quietly.

And you shouldn't, either!
I'm going to vote for Trump if I vote at all. I have no faith in the electoral process, and also dislike all of the candidates of both parties. If Trump doesn't run, I will vote for the next biggest shitstain bigot.

...and thereby be part of the problem.

Even if it could be fixed, I don't want it to be. I would prefer to see revolution and an end to western dominance.
'May you live in interesting times' is an old Chinese epithet.

Knowing what they meant, I don't wish that on anyone.

Clearly you are too foolish to know what you're asking for.

What a waste. Ever think of trying to be part of the solution?

Your attitude is worse than useless, not only because it's false but because others might believe you.
But you're better because you barf your political ideals at others and make opinionated statements about others on a weed growers forum I suppose? Lol, give it a rest buddy. You're like a car salesman trying to sell a car in the produce section of the grocery store. Go elsewhere if you really want people who give a shit.

Where else do you suggest? A left wing echo chamber? I'm tired of the results I get from preaching to the choir.

This is everyone's forum, not just yours. If it makes you uncomfortable to hear me call you lazy because you can't be bothered to use the freedoms you were given, you know where the ignore button is.

And for the record, I've been a used car salesman, lol

Right back at ya. It is surprising to see someone foolish enough to think that staying the course of this system isn't a death wish.

Our civilization is an extinction event.

I'm not saying I'm disagreeing with you. Our difference lies in how much we think we can change in the meantime.

I believe I can do better than sitting on my ass with bong in hand while civilization slips over the edge of the abyss.

You go vote as hard as you can.
Shit, if that changed anything it would have already.

That's why I'm doing my rabble rousing in places like this; anyone I can peel off his couch to go get involved is a victory.

After all, WE are the ninety nine percent.

How many hours did you spend physically improving the environment today?

The rural population entered the economic strife characterized by the Great Depression much earlier than the city folk. You put a rosy glow on it, imagining everybody living off jam from berries or such. Their economic privation was pretty bad. Sharecropper farmers in the south had nothing and no prospects, across the nation low prices for what could be grown leading to defaults and lost farms, no, it was pretty bad.

People did starve in record numbers.

Wow you are pretty ignorant.
Thanks for the insults. I know people starved. My point went right over your head. You're smrt.

GW made quick decisions and took action. We are still living with his mistakes.

Rapid action done right requires excellent leadership and a mandate from the electorate. We currently have neither. Agree that something can be done quickly in the right situation but I don't see this congress and this electorate enabling that. "Done right" has higher value than "rapid", in in my opinion for what it's worth.
And you are, specifically, one of the folks I'm talking about offering solutions without understanding the problem. Continue on, you are fascinating.
