Anybody use molasses? I've read its good for the soil..if so sulphur or unsulphured? I'm about 25 days into flower is this a good time to use it?
So just mix it with the water?Unsulphured blackstrap molasses. Blackstrap has a good potassium and mineral content and provides some sugars that feed microbes which benefit plants. You can use it during veg and bloom.
Its really not like physical labor to microwave a cup for 30 seconds to a minute, mix a spoonful of molasses and pour it in the jug... it'll be fully dissolved in your water faster and less hassle than shaking jugs and jugs of water. To me, that's more work don't ya think? You really dont even have to go to so much trouble. I always just measure out a tablespoon into a gallon jug and shake it up to mix. The trick is to shake it good, then turn the jug upside down for a few seconds. It's going to foam up a bit and the air bubbles will help mix what remains on the bottom into solution.
