Talk to me about terpene profiles, shopping for gear.

Looking for that taste, don't want no sissy weed though.

I'm growing solely for myself, and I want the dankness. I like all the different types of stone, it depends on the occasion. What I want is a range of outstanding flavors and colors. Bag appeal is moderately important, even though I'm not making any bags, but the really important thing is a unique terpene profile. I'm looking for amazing flavors and potent smoke. I'm not as concerned with yield, as I'm about to have a lot of fucking weed for one guy.

I've really only done a single harvest of a single plant (Purple TW) for myself so far, and worked on another grow with a guy; I'm quite new at this. My shit is pretty dialed-in considering that, so I'm not shy about how easy it is to grow as long as it isn't super-finicky.

What I have in the stable right now includes;
Flowering tent:
  • Purple Trainwreck (TW pheno from bagseed, but seems legit)
  • Delahaze (legendary)
  • Heavyweight Fruit Punch (amazing so far)
  • Barney's Blue Cheese (yum!)
Vegging:
  • Paradise Original White Widow
  • Paradise Nebula
  • And an auto, Sweet's Dark Devil - because it is supposed to look pretty, mostly.
I've only had two beans fail to germinate in my life, vegetables or cannabis, and they were both CBD Crew Medi Haze, which was a huge disappointment. My buddy has three more seeds, hopefully he germs at least one, but the seeds look pretty puny to us. I don't want to spend a bunch of money on more seeds that fail to germinate, so I'm looking for guidance here.

What I've been looking at to expand my menu are the following:
  • Rare Dankness - Tangerine Trainwreck, Ghost Train Haze, Ghost of Leroy, Blue Ox, something!
  • Devil's Harvest - Strawberry Sour Diesel
  • HSO - Blue Dream, because everyone should have it, seems like.
  • Apothecary - Grape Ape
I've looked at lots of other gear, but I don't know. I want your thoughts, if you'd be so kind to share them.

I'm right there with ya buddy on terpene profiles. Thc percentages are really secondary for me. A lot of people hate on TGA, but they seem to focus their breeding on terpenes. I've lost track of how many seeds I've popped at this point, but hands down the tastiest strain I've come across is Cheese Quake. My god. Lavender, grape, and cheese funk all rolled in to one. It's the only strain I've come across where it tastes *exactly* like it smells.

With that I will throw out a disclaimer.... you'll have to dig through some seeds to find that special one. A lot of variation in his lines. I've grown 3 strains from them now and no two plants were the same.

I've found some nice smells and flavors in Bodhi's gear as well. Good luck!

Dude, I am completely happy with RareD. I have Ghost of LeeRoy and we are talking about it in the RareD thread. I bought 4 packs of TGA seeds and I bought 1 pack RareD Starkiller and got a free 1/2 pack Gost of LeeRoy. Needless to say, I didnt keep 1 TGA. Sorry stow. Anyways, I had 7 quality females from the starkiller with 1 special pheno, rubbery. I found a good male/female out of Ghost, very good %. I ran 6 different packs and only kept 3. I am getting more picky, I would not light-heartedly pick a male plant! Check out the RareD Thread before I start repeating what I said in there lol.

If you are interested in terpene production, you should really check out what Professor P (aka Dynasty Seeds) breeds. He is heavily focused on terpene production. Sannies sells his full line. Very inexpensive beans and great breeding. Hands down one of the best kept seed secrets.

No need to apologize bro. I'm no subcool fan. I just happened to find a very terpene rich plant in one of his packs.

I agree with this. I've tried two Dynasty strains and have enjoyed both.

I read the last few pages of that thread before making this one, in fact. Thanks a bunch, I'm pretty sold on them.
@Punk great tip, thanks a fuckton, glad to hear some support for it, too. Way cool you guys. I just wish I had more room and more security to run a boatload more plants. Might have to move to a different location just for that reason.
I'm going to go scope Dynasty now, and definitely invest in a number of RareD seeds.

NGR is now called 'thedankteam', and they do have way more Dynasty strains listed, but their prices are much higher...Caramel Cough for example..sannies has it for $25 and thedankteam sells the same beans for $40.
They have a Michigan phone number..so I guess they're US based? That saves money on shipping, if they are legit.
