I'm starting on the structure, then I'll move to the wiring. I got my connecting pieces together, and did a "proof of concept" for myself to make sure that my drawings translate to the real world. This light will have six COBs -- 4 CXB3070's @3000k, and 2 CXA3070's @4000k. The 4k's will be at the center, and the 3k's will be able to be extended outward on the slides. There are two parts, three COBs each, and both parts will also be distance adjustable. When collapsed the COBs will be 8" apart, but in the 4'x2' I will arrange them at 12" apart, which I think works out for the space.
Here are some pics of the initial layout of one side, nothing is connected, I'm just testing fit and distance. The piece of paper is just where I'll be cutting down the raw flats and angles.
