Many say "regular" female seed are better genetics than the "femmized" seeds
OK - if one purchase 10 male seeds how many would be female ? 3 ? 6?

If you are looking for a percentage and your just going to throw them in dirt and hope for the best you may get 30% but create the proper inviorment and it will go up to 60% or more. And as far as genetics fem seeds are just x-x cromazone chemicaly altered with a female being forced to turn male and create pollen not to be confused with hermorphidite.hoped this helpedMany say "regular" female seed are better genetics than the "femmized" seeds

Thanks, have use females seeds - but wanting to get a truer pheno type so might get regular seedsIf you are looking for a percentage and your just going to throw them in dirt and hope for the best you may get 30% but create the proper inviorment and it will go up to 60% or more. Thanks for the information - my seed selection next time might be regular - the only issue I have with them is the waste of time on male plants and the forced lower stage to see if female and then switching back to grow cycle - timeAssume ~50% will be female, though from asking fellow growers on their ratios it's likely that you have better than 50% odds.
As for reg vs. female.
Basically if you want to get the new hyped up, super cool, cutting edge strains your going to end up with regular seeds.
If you want a strain that's been around for a while you can usually find feminized versions.
Glad I posted this thread you guy's are changing my mind concerning "regular seeds" seeds - And there are better stains with regular seeds like" OG alien black forest timewarp" as an example of one could wait till breeders femminized these regular strainsI start seeds direct to media (soil). If they are regular seeds they go directly into ~3 liter containers. Last time a pack of 10 seeds yielded 7 females. Females definitely are favored under the right circumstances.
You can find most strains in a feminized version or if you want to make your own feminized seeds you can. All it is is a colloidal silver spray that causes the female plant area you spray to grow pollen sacks. So say you got 1 female "OG pussy waffle" and you like the pheno, and want to keep it, spray a few branches with the spray and only those branches will get pollen sacks and you can develop seeds from their. So don't let regular seeds fool you. Also with regular seeds you can get male genetics, which in many cases can be good if you want to breed... But if not I would say just pick any seeds you want and if they happen to be regular, get the colloidal silver spray so you can make feminised seeds of it and never have to look back.Glad I posted this thread you guy's are changing my mind concerning "regular seeds" seeds - And there are better stains with regular seeds like" OG alien black forest timewarp" as an example of one could wait till breeders femminized these regular strains
Makes sense after thinking about it - really don't want to waste time on male plantsYou can find most strains in a feminized version or if you want to make your own feminized seeds you can. 50% that is an easy question and answer. Of course that won't mean you will get 50% female every 10 pack. You could get really unlucky and go through awhole bunch of packs with less than 50% or you could get really lucky and go through awhole bunch of packs getting more than 50%.
.....Maybe there's hope for you after all.Everyone gives me grief if i dont give the easy answers so i rounded the whole debate of to 5
The answer to the question asked is ZERO. Read the question again and see what you think about the answers. I know what everyone meant but if this was graded you'd all fail. Many say "regular" female seed are better genetics than the "femmized" seeds

Until the day they manage to make male only seeds im pretty sure the answer cannot be '0' unless we are assuming a reality not representitive of our own.The answer to the question asked is ZERO. Just because the question is not based in reality. The fact is a male seeds could only create male plants. Thanks for playing. Better luck next time. I'm pretty sure you didn't do well with word problems in math class. Because any teacher would tell you to read the question.Until the day they manage to make male only seeds im pretty sure the answer cannot be '0' unless we are assuming a reality not representitive of our own.
You just got graded.... Im afraid its a fail
