Yeah its definitely thrips, spider mites spread quick and it looks like a white dust on the leaves, you'll notice that the white on your plant is clumped together in more congested colonies. I've never had it before go with experience and trust wiethe on this one. Spinosad, Monterey Garden, put those in the memory bank for future reference thanks wiethe.

Thrips have asymmetrical mouthparts that are also unique to the group. Unlike the Hemiptera, the right mandible of thrips is reduced and vestigial – and in some species completely absent.
