Are these buds looking ok?

Hello,
I have been thinking if these buds look ok...I am especially concerned about picture 4 and 5 - the stuff looks like a spider mini web - it's present on 2 buds - rest doesn't have stuff like this..
Is my stuff doomed ?

on visual appearance i would say 5/10, i don't know what the smell flavour and high is like though, so why not tell us?

Ah, was still editing the thread. The thing is about last 2 pics - I noticed weird "spider web" lookalike - just in 2 places but I got concerned about it and was wondering if there is anything else wrong about the stuff. Clearly it's not something normal so just wondering if I should just throw them away or something ...

Btw. I have only noticed in when i split the main cola buds (the biggest ones) - that is what was inside. I have a feeling it's a small amount of bud rot. The main colas were quite big and when i started curing I noticed the big buds got really wet after curing - probably mistake on my side(too early for jars?). All the smaller buds look really well - no issues.
Is this really bud rot? What can I do to prevent it next time ? Split the big colas to smaller pieces or just let them hand for a bit longer?

it looks very suspect, if you aren't sure then don't smoke that particular bud. it could have been botrytis whilst the plant was growing but more than likely it is some kind of mould that thrived once it got put in a humid environment aka your jar.

i always make sure my buds are dry before going into the jars, no matter how crispy dry you think your nugs are i garantee there is still moisture in the stem that will come out when it gets jarred

Bud rot is typically a darker brown color. This looks like a fungus to me, but to be sure you should take a magnified look. If it's stringy, it's fungus and should not be combusted and inhaled. If you have had humidity/airflow issues, that would be the cause.

When you put the buds in a jar for a few hours, do you smell a musty or moldy smell at all when you open it? I had 3 small outdoor plants last year that filled 10 quart jars and I was using the 63% Bovida packets in each during the cure. One jar didn't get opened for a couple of days and for the next few days, those buds definitely got darker brown hairs and smelled musty, much different than the other jars. Just to be sure, I trashed the one jar and won't make that mistake again.

I wouldn't call it mouldy or mysty smell - not entirely sure how moldy buds would smell anyway, but I fell they smell a bit differently (not much but you can sense something). They look definiately darker brown as you said. The other 2 jars look more fresh. I checked them thoroughly with 60x magnifier and only few had white hairs - I put them in a plastic bag separately. The rest from the main colas don't have these white webs but they definiately look darker. Should I discard these too?

Btw whole weed smells weird haha. I heard the real smell comes after longer curing. Is that right?

Haha yes, I noticed it too. They were definiately too wet for the jars!
The other smaller buds were probably even too wet for jars but I opened them for long time when I felt they were too moisty. I guess small ones dried ok in the jars, while the bigger ones got messed up

If you do decide you are not going to use these to smoke or vape, then please don't throw away. You can process these into some other form where the mold will be removed. I can't remember if edibles or some type of concentrate/hash would be the better solution. Research and let us know what you do!

if the smoke is harsh and taste bad dont keep smoking it. smoking mold can be dangerous for you.

Yes always make sure you wait till the stem snaps before you cure it. Gauranteed that's your problem, mold growing from too much moisture in the jar. Chuck it man you don't want to smoke that shit. I once chucked a couple oz bc it was moldy.

Pluck off the white bits, looks pretty much ok, break some shit open, make sure it isn't too moist during cure, looks like it will be fine to me. Or; take off your clothes, throw a garbage can through the window and set the place on fire. I'm not a legal professional and this should not be considered advice of any kind, thanks.
