Also, I will be building a new cab (a little bigger considering the plants are expected to grow larger with nutes than the yard dirt mothers.)
Me either... Based off its hardyness, and ability to take abuse, it seems like the bagseed i used was the perfect strain for a grow like this. (The male/female ratio sucked though) im willing to bet that the clones will produce some serious dank with proper care. I honestly cant wait to toke on these ladys though... I feel like ive bonded with them more than i have any of my other grows, even though this one required the least work.YES!!! HALLELUJAH!! Can't wait to see the final product!
why are you using hydro nutes in soil ?Stopped by a hydroponics store and picked up some cloning gel. Im going to attempt to clone directly in soil. The cuttings im taking will be VERY small, some under 2". Since the plant is already in early flowering, and the pots take up too much room in my cab, i will keep the clones in a homemade humidity dome (more like a rubber made container with a makeshift clear lid) these plants will also be in the same soil as my current grow, but will be given nutes throughout their entire life. I will go through this thread and count the days from sprout to the day i flipped the lights, and the clones will get the same amount of veg time.
Now is where this will get intresting, how much better will the clones perform, with a full nute regiment?
Ill be using General Hydroponics Floroduo part A and B.
They can be used for both hydro and soil. They just get mixed with the water you use to water them.why are you using hydro nutes in soil ?
woudn't soil nutes be a lot better choice
ok fellow thats hope you grow lots of budThey can be used for both hydro and soil. They just get mixed with the water you use to water them.
That's so awesome bro. Do you have any inkling as to what strain they are yet? Any smell?Me either... No idea, but its impossible to tell just by looking a a plant. They are clearly indica dominate... Thats all ill ever knowThat's so awesome bro. Do you have any inkling as to what strain they are yet? Any smell?
Gunna reveg em again after you chop?sorry so long for response...and to those that were asking yes its a reveg and they are doing awesome...i got about 3 weeks left... they are starting to swell out now and have lots of crystals...a few smell pretty fruity.... and the others smell like a skunk sprayed somewhere!!! yum!!!!!
No ... im one of them ppl that believe that a plant is only good for two years ....last year they had nice nugs when i grew em in the basement... this year should be nice nugs too... but im just going to pull em and dry em right befor the first frost... wich here in michigan should be around the 28 of sept- 11 of oct.... then i got some "larry" and "super skunk" i will start and veg till spring get em about 8 foot in my basement and then move them back out doors next spring.... i like to be able to pull around a pound per plant if i can... they seem to grow nice if i veg em for about four months then move em outside...Gunna reveg em again after you chop?
I wonder how many reveg harvests you can get off one plant without it dying.... Could you just keep the same plant producing buds every few months repeatedly? No ... im one of them ppl that believe that a plant is only good for two years ....last year they had nice nugs when i grew em in the basement... this year should be nice nugs too... but im just going to pull em and dry em right befor the first frost... wich here in michigan should be around the 28 of sept- 11 of oct.... then i got some "larry" and "super skunk" i will start and veg till spring get em about 8 foot in my basement and then move them back out doors next spring.... i like to be able to pull around a pound per plant if i can... they seem to grow nice if i veg em for about four months then move em outside...
Probably but i wouldnt recomend it as the reveg took 2 months under my 600w lights in the basement and then another month outside befor it started to even show any new growth... i personally wont do a reveg again because it took waaaay to long for the nugs left on the plant to reveg .... but when each of the little nug reveged they had 4 to 6 branches start out of each one and then when they reached about 7ft i started toping them... wich branched out even more... i am really suprised at how my plants grew.. its been a real learning experiment. ..and the only reason i tried a reveg is because alot of the growers and dispensaries around my area said it cant be done.... they were wrong obviously.... i just hope the nugs taste as good as they smell... u can smell them before u pull in my driveway and my house sits 300 ft off the road... they smelll really really good...and also i should mention when they were in the basement they didnt smell no where near as strong or have that many crystals on em.....I wonder how many reveg harvests you can get off one plant without it dying.... Could you just keep the same plant producing buds every few months repeatedly?
Well every person to there own..... as i said it was a learning experiment... and when u grow outside u have unlimited space and light so no problem there... and my plants grew better in the reveg outside than they did in the basement from seed.....I have reveg a plant a couple of times and it took me 6 weeks till it was ready for flower
didn't really see any benfits of reveg, takes a lot of space/light and you get better results from a clone rooted and vegged over the 6 weeks
Science, eh? Why do I suspect another motive? So, i have many people dont like to research... They just ask questions and hope someone takes them by the hand and helps them grow a cash crop.
Everyone wants a pound of weed from a 12 inch plant right?
Well im going to do an experiment. I just germed a ton of seeds. This experiment will waste a few of them but its for a good cause.
Im going to plant a few seedlings in a pot (far away from my other indoor grow) and use my backyard dirt, tap water and an incandescent bulb.
Expectations are high for this grow... I hope to yeild "bout a pound" of some fire!
I will use no nutes, and nothing but tap water and dirt. Maybe a few rocks for drainage so i can over water the shit out of them just for fun.
Anyone wanna sub to my journal?
Dont get me wrong, i like weed lolScience, eh? Why do I suspect another motive?
The best crop I ever grew was totally unattended gorilla. Got raided by sheriff, but they missed enough I still harvested 24 ;lbs.Dont get me wrong, i like weed lol
Ive grown many times in the past and have often wondered what wpuld happen if i didn't follow anyones advice at first... What if i didnt adjust PH, what if i used tap water, what if i didnt use nutes.... Well so far i got two flowering plants (small but healthy) and have spent less than 50 bucks for every part of the grow.
I wamma learn the art of bulk gorilla growingThe best crop I ever grew was totally unattended gorilla. Got raided by sheriff, but they missed enough I still harvested 24 ;lbs.
