When can you get an accurate scale reading post harvest?

Can I weigh all my buds as soon as i cut them from the branches after they hang for an accurate measurement? Or do I have to wait a certain amount through the curing process.

I've done this before a while back and I find you lose basically 75% through the dry at least.

So if you have 1000grams. Be happy if you get 250gm dry and if you cure, prob lose a little more.

Depends on how much you smoke I guess 250gms is still a few o's, so you may as well just start curing it

Measurement for weed is like all plant crops accurately measured once dried and cured, as in you are about to rollone, but weigh it first

..this has been done since ancient times to remove all possible water that may cheat a buyer,

so when most noobs are growing a one pounder in reality its 75% lighter

I just wanted to know when would be a good time for an accurate measurement. i'm almost done hang drying, and id like to have an accurate assessment on how much weight i've got. But some people saying that they cure for over a month. I dont mind curing itself, but i'd like a decent figure before that, hopefully

I reckon you only lose like 5% through curing, if that man.
Dry for a week, then take off 3-5% and you have your post-2-week-cure weight

if you trim it wet weigh it and take away 75 percent

It's not? I thought curing was the process of removing moisture from the center of the bud, while allowing the chloraphyl and other unwanted stuff to get out.

Im I sure a bit of moisture is removed but the process of opening a jar once a day would not lend it self to much drying. I could be way off base but my bud is perhaps too dry when the curing process starts. I find there's a fine line when deciding to jar it. It seems more of a way to redistribute the moisture thats there to make a more consistent product. If I put it in the jar too early it gets not a particularly nice smell IMO.
