that's cool. that's what mine is (8 feet high), so i've been letting mine get to about 12 inches and then they end up around three feet + which puts my canopy at four feet + (with the pots). My grow closet is 4ft by 4ft and 8 feet high
Yeah it's nice to have verticle space. So you think 2 weeks more would be good before flipping the switch?that's cool. that's what mine is (8 feet high), so i've been letting mine get to about 12 inches and then they end up around three feet + which puts my canopy at four feet + (with the pots).
my particular strain i run she needs six to seven weeks to reach that height under my T5, but i've had other strains that i've put in at less than a foot grow over four feet tall. i know that doesn't help, that's why you always read about everyone warning about "the stretch." this is your first grow and you're unsure of the strain, right? i would let it get to eight to twelve inches and put it in flower.Yeah it's nice to have verticle space. Correct, all I know is that the batch of bud I got it from got me really good haha seems like This plant is more short and bushy and the nodes are really close. Must be a good thing and okay I'm gonna try to aim for 10 inches if possible. Thanks for the help @Undercover grow I really appreciate it I'll keep you postedmy particular strain i run she needs six to seven weeks to reach that height under my T5, but i've had other strains that i've put in at less than a foot grow over four feet tall. i know that doesn't help, that's why you always read about everyone warning about "the stretch." this is your first grow and you're unsure of the strain, right? i would let it get to eight to twelve inches and put it in flower.
Haven't fed her anything but tap water and the temps were around 80-85 so I changed my fan position yesterday and it got down to 74,75 F with the lights on.i know you haven't fed her yet, so what's your temps like in your tent?
Not sure of what nutes to give it. The simpler the better. Any recommendations? Also if boy you guys can smell via interwebs she's smelling funky! And if I rub them stems there's all sticky and smell even more.give her 1/2 strength nutes about now...a lil a tiny bit of epsom and molassess...then go phosphorus crazy lol...still low strength. u will have somethin tasty 4 sho gl bro
I'll look into nutrient and other organic stuff that can be used instead, read my eyes off because you sparked a lot of questions. You can never learn too much, and yeah I'll check his stuff out too! I'm gonna start calmag/Epsom/molasses feeding in a week or so thanks for the info!so your temps are great then. i agree with @james murphy - you could give her a small feeding and see how she responds, or you could continue to just water her for a little longer because her coloring looks good in that top picture of your last post and then start feeding her maybe in a week-that's up to you. depending on your water, you might just get away with some camg which also goes along with his epsom and molasses comment too. so feed her.
started out with a go-box of GH but then switched and now i use earth juice grow and bloom (and i have some other EJ products: micro and meta-k) with neptune's harvest as needed but there's a lot of different nutrients out there and a lot of them are good. i also add a dyna-grow 0-0-3 product to a watering once a weekish (i'll have to look up later) and am still learning how to add this into my particular strain grow. i rarely use the nutrients listed because they're for emergency use only now because i'm cooking my soil and try to water only now. when i was just using happy frog and EJ products, they were good grows. i'm getting good grows now with amended soil and water. i still run into a pheno that requires me to feed extra and i'm using the EJ products to supplement. i haven't used camg for a while because of some awesome neptune crab shell meal (i think it's called) @st0wandgrow recommended adding to my amended soil. he's a great resource-check out his grows and info posted.
