The worst bugs I have ever experenced was in the summer working in the Ring of Fire.

1. Mosquitoes

2. Black Flies

3. Horse Flies

4. Shit Flies/ normie flies

5. Noseeums

Literally all at the same fucking time. We had to sleep with bug nets over the beds in our sleeper tents or burn toxic "pick"/ mosquito coils at night to smoke them all out.

I managed to still spend lots of time outside though, but was on about a half a bottle of bug spray a day.

Had I been with child at the time...it would have turned out like this:

Mosquitoes are the worst...

We had so many mosquitoes around my little hometown area that we called our little league baseball team..."The Mosquitoes"... ...we sucked...lmao

I refuse to use Deet, or any bug spray that isn't natural. If anything smells like poison, won't go near it. I already have enough neurological issues haha

growers love to breathe this chemical, i warn them not to whenever i get a chance and i recc doing research before they consider it further.

check this puppy out. beekeeper supply
I have worn those while fly fishing.
Mosquitoes are literally the worst, not so much for the northerners like us, but they are the deadliest animal to human beings on the planet to this day.

Let's see more pretty pictures and forget this part of the conversation (buckin fugs!). I'll go first, here's a little spawning female Kokanee (landlocked Sockeye salmon) hiding under a chunk of old drift.

Going for a Neature walk for sushi soon! I love business trips, so many nice restaurants...

Took these pictures from their online menu... know what I'm getting!

It was between here an Hooters. Never actually been to hooters, and I do like boobs. But Sushi wins every time.

Actually had to change hotels, for 1 night only, because AC/DC is playing tonight and all the hotels were booked up. Me and my other 5 training counterparts from Canada had to switch to this hotel.

It's in more of a concrete jungle and not so close to the riverwalk.

Back to the pretty one next week though - I'm going to bring better running attire...

I'm looking them up and the internet is lumping them in with Black Flies...the fuckers.

Are they different?

I've never heard them called anything other than white socks, but I think you're right.
Damn, they are a painful little suckers though.
If they get your pink parks you swell up like a balloon.

There was a woman that worked for the Ministry of the Environment n the ring of fire and she only made it the first day out in the feild. Came home, and the next morning both her eyes were swollen shut. Her whole face looked like it was double in size...

I've gotten bites a couple times on/ near the eyes... I looked like a pirate.

Wow! I never noticed how neat that first video is. That's pretty neat ha ha. This is all I have. I went trout fishing on this inlet. It was kind of dangerous and stupid, now that I think about it. I didn't have ice spikes and my boots are impossible to kick off. grow pics 042.jpg
