Like the title said, I have a clones that are autoflowering.

The clone started doing it after I put it in soil, 3 of them. I never really had this problem before, so I am kind of stumped. I still have the mother, plus I took more clones of her before I found out..

I had them in very low light, could this be a problem.. I also recently topdressed the mother with 2-3 inches of castings.

Could you explain more?

Is it really a problem?
That's all the personal experience I've had, and I've done no reading on it. The goji was a clone of a clone, and c-99 is a fast finisher, so I just guessed their intenal clock alarms had gone off....or something....:eyesmoke:

I was ready to move on, so it was actually cool when they started to flower in the veg tent.

@MustangStudFarm not sure what causes this, I have only had it happen once. Im pretty sure i know what caused it though....

Had my Purple Kush going for well over 3 years. By the time I had an issue, they were clone of a clone of a clone... not even sure what generation it was but they began to auto in veg. I was low on space so I kept the 5 or 6 clones I had in solo cups for a long time. I just kept cropping to keep em small. They were in the solos for probably 6 weeks and then began autoflowering...

Like i said, ran the strain for 3 years without an issue. May want to scrap em unless u dont mind micro plants. Once mine auto'd, I transplanted, and then put em 12/12. Only stretched a few inches and ended up with 12" single cola plants. Only got maybe a half zip off of each

Sounds like perhaps you got clones that were cut once the plant was already switched to flower. There is a fine line as to when the best time to take cuttings is. Some people do take cuttings during the first 2-3 weeks of flower some don't so that this doesn't happen.
They can revert back to veg but it usually takes awhile.

I really didnt want to be naming strains, but it was my Ace of Spades. I dont think that it was a purple pheno, but it is a massive cola type. Kind of sad about it, but I guess that could be why it is a discontinued strain?

I had a red purps that went full auto on me. It was a big plant in a small container. That may have had something to do with it. I have had several males that have autoflowered over the years.

I think it's strain dependant. I ran a Sugar Punch pheno for a minute recently that would start showing bud sites under 20 hours of lights on. Didn't matter what I did, there was no preventing it. I think enviornmental factors can cause this (ie root bound) but I'm thinking it's mostly a strain thing.
