Mainlining has been a lovely experience. It's kinda freaky at first when you're hacking away at your young lush looking plants. But when they bounce back, they sure pack a punch!
I'm looking forward to at least 40g. And for someone who's max production was 60g from 3 plants combined... If I get 50g from 1 plant I'll be one happy fellow =)
Anyway, here are a few snaps from harvest day

I have to confess I've already nipped a few popcorn buds for scientific testing purposes.
But I shall only do a proper smoke report once I have a nice 2 week cure going on.

That looks SO good.
I know right... about the mainlining.
You take such care to grow the plant out to 6 beautiful lush green nodes, then chop all hell outta them !
I just transplanted and am ready to chop some more, but don't want transplant shock combines with chop shock.
Altho, they went from hydro to hydro... pretty much the same, maybe I'm good to go on the next toppings.
What GREAT fun, right?

Hanged for a week and a half with continuous air extraction, the buds came out quite crispy, I hadn't gotten weed so dry before. I manicured their last tips and left them airing out in our living room. The tent was in the low 40% RH during the drying, and out here it's always around 60% or 70%. The buds regained some of the plushiness overnight. Weighed them and stuffed them lightly into jars. I've been burping them and blowing some condensation into them, and they get better by the day!
I was very pumped at the idea of possibly getting 50g like you guys said I would. And personally I wasn't believing I'd even break 40g. But to my great amazement, I wasn't even close...

I couldn't believe my eyes! One of my last grows I had 3 plants and I only got 61g from the 3 combined!!! xD
I'm on cloud nine right now, it's quite a wonderful feeling when you finally start getting to the level that you used to look up to a while back. Shows you how much you've progressed.
Oh, and for anyone who didn't believe in LED lighting... Here's even more proof. haha
I built my 4 fixtures with the help from these boards and all the COB LED experts on here. It's easy, and it's very rewarding to get so much weed from something you put together with your own hands.
Each COB + Power supply is sucking 64.8W at the wall. So the real light output should be around the tabled value of 50~55W per COB.
To everyone who was involved in this, either with expertise, wisdom, or just keeping company as this thread goes on, a very big THANK YOU =) I wish I could share my small bounty with all of you!

WOOO HOOOOO !!!!! Great job man. What a harvest from such a tiny space. 1 plant and some DIY LED's. You must be so proud.
How much do you guess the lights cost you overall?
Oh, and we said around 70g, so we were kinda close. I think someone said 80g too. Anyways, we are all real happy for you. So awesome. I hope it smokes as good as it should. I found my LED buds to be the best I ever grew.

I'm very pumped! These are in fact some nice smoking buds. I'll do a smoke report soon.
You got to see the plant when it was still small! I wish I could share a bit of the smoke with you.
I'm glad too! xD But you're right, genetics do play a big part. And even though this is a Cheese plant, it did not have a cheese smell or taste. Rather a spicy-sweet, almost earthy smell.Great job man, I'm so glad I was wrong
But don't forget that a lot depends on genetics. Some produce tightly packed heavy buds, some airy light ones

I do like a good read, plus I know that feeling oh so well. I started growing little 7g popsicle plants in the beginning, then once you learn a bit. I ended up the last run I did nearly 2 years ago with one plant 4.5 oz. Was a happy stoner. I used a 250w hps then. Led ftw tho.

After a quick week's cure I'm feeling nice for a quick smoke report.
The weed is overall more dry than all the others I've produced so far. It grinds into a nice granulated mush that is easy to manipulate.
Before touching the bud the smell is not very strong, but once you disturb it's peaceful sitting it erupts and sticks to your fingers with a nice subtle sweetness that lasts a lovely while!
Because it is also quite resinous, rolling is a breeze, as it keeps a nice cone shape as soon as you work your fingertips.
The burn is fast and uniform, specially as it's quite nicely dried, makes for a burn that almost resembles the ember from tobacco. It passively burns a nice thin wisp of smoke slowly into the air.
The smoke is dense, you definitely feel it on the inhale. Still tastes a little raw since it's been curing for such a short period, but I already feel a diference in the tones since my first example smokes a few weeks ago.
It smells earthy and acid with a slight sweetness to it. I bet it's going to get better as the chlorophyl slowly dissipates as the cure goes on.
The high is one of the most pleasant I've experienced. It's not very trippy. It gives you this nice upper body numbness that makes for an overall feel-good sensation. And actually clears the mind of some of the clutter. Beeing a hybrid it does accelerate some of the thought processes, so I do find myself WAY immersed into gaming and movies, but it's in a chill kind of mood, and it interferes with the quickness of reflexes xD. I think it would be a great weed to share with a big group of friends, and just have everyone chill out and get social. It sure is a friendly smoke with very low paranoia inducing properties.
In a way I wish I had gotten 2 different strains like I usually do, only because it's really nice to be able to decide what kind of high I want to achieve on a given day, and also, the difference between 2 smokes makes for a better perception of both of their properties and qualities.
That being said, I'm VERY happy that I've got so much of this weed. It's a brilliant end to any work day or otherwise. It's just a very serene experience with some nice body relaxation and some nice cerebral buz.
I give it a 6,5/10 (so far)
Also, I just smoked a very nice piece right now. And suddenly everything is pretty awesome.
