Sup riu, I was hoping some of you from Colorado could give a lil insight on moving to your state from texas. My oll lady has to go to a bigger university to finish out her last years in school to get her doc in phycology. We will both handle the cild well since she lived in oragen for several years and I worked the last 2 years in north dakota. But we will be looking for a 3 bed house Prefably in a small town, or in the outskirts or a town, can any1 give me any idea of what the rent might be like and how hard it is to fined jobs around there, she obviously will be a full time student and im an oilfield hand, but since thats not doing to hot right now im running heavy equipment and working as an iron worker. Thanks

I'm sure it's easier to find work in TX to many people have moved to CO I wouldn't do it but I grow my own no point. And just cause its legal in CO you still need clean piss for most jobs especially heavy equipment jobs.

Stay here if you want to make money, move there if you want to buy legal pot. Colorado is great and all, but what happens if state passes better laws?

Colorado is awesome, don't get me wrong, but I'd much rather live in Cali or Oregon if it was me.

Don't forget we live in a giant state with tons of rural area, you can hide for years out in the country. And Austin is pretty damn cool about pot, not to mention dallas and houston decriminalized up to 2 ounces of pot. Yeah you still get a ticket and shit but it's a start.

And in 2017 we will start selling real CBD oils

I am in a similar situation... Colorado's housing market is pretty slim! I had an easier time finding houses in Oregon... I was looking at $275k houses.

Qualified individuals can find employment near the major cities like pueblo, Colorado Springs, or Denver. When you get in to towns that are an hour so from a major city then opportunities aren't very abundant. The first question that would effect what area to look at is what school does your wife want to attend to finish her degree? Rent in Boulder will differ greatly from rent in Pueblo.

Also, I found the city data forums to be very informative when I was planning my relocation to CO

Hit it on the head. I thought about Colorado once..then i realized every stoner in the US was heading there the day after it went legal. IDK what it' actually like but i would have to think with the influx of people the job market has got to be extremely competitive. There are a few people who have posted bout it. I bet there are alot of "I moved to Colo and failed" stories we aren't hearing.
