Halt.

Found some bag seed and decided to grow. Clueless as to strain. Grew pretty good and then just stopped. Buds formed on tops fully. Smaller buds as I cruise down the stem. Wondering if harvest is in order or do I let them be. East coast grow so the sun is a little off now. I have pics.. Please help.14428468088902015115561.jpg

is that two plants in one pot? If that's the case and also depending on the size of the pot, they're root bound and can't grow anymore roots due to lack of room so they stop growing

Yes. Actually found them and kept them. Tried to manage upkeep. Good thing is I know what to do next time. Just clueless as to these two

Thanks. Don't wanna harvest them too early or too late. Seems the tops grew too fast for the lower buds. The aroma is there. The stiff buds are there. The lower buds seem the same size as a week ago.

welcome to RIU @Doobi Stynch

you're a long way away from harvest, so don't do anything; my guess would be at least three or four weeks minimum.

HALT - i use that as an acronym for life decisions: i never make a major decision whenever i'm Hungry Angry Lonely or Tired.

ETA: by the way, even though they are small, they're looking pretty good. you'll at least get some nice smoke off of them. bongsmilie

Temperatures and sunlight dispersal this time of year are more of an issue than being over crowded or root bound. Those are your limiting factors in my opinion.

I appreciate the info. I'll leave them be. I'm I'm upper east coast and the weather will become a factor soon.

That's what I'm worried for. Not sure as of what I can do to control it. And then shade of other trees prevent some sun.

Not that they look bad. I just mean for those two plants growing in such the way that they are I think let them finish just the way you are doing it.

yes, i'm sure but let them go for as long as the weather will allow. they'll put on weight in those last weeks for you and in two or three weeks, even if you have to chop a little early and loose some weight, it will still be some good smoke
