Am I flushing out my nutes to early?

All depends on what strain you have indica and sativa have different flower cycle's in a general rule 1 to 2 weeks in a soil grow which has had heavy nutes and hydro I do 5 day flush always nice smoke

This could get ugly... Flushing always ends in fights around here. I don't flush at all, so any amount of flushing is too early for me. If you have to flush it's because you did something wrong

I respect everyone's opinion and your absolutely right there are some sore subjects on here and this happends to be one of them Can't stand when somebody gets all bent out of shape about another successful growers methods that they use it's so annoying .......guess what Gary I do flush ....but I still respect your info and I'm sure you still grow some bomb smoke even though the only flushing you do is after you take a shit .....lol

Gary I've been growing for 10 years now and I still don't know everything but here is 1 thing I do know which I have learned and tried you do have to flush you wanna smoke them nutrients carry on Budd I have not flushed before but you don't get a real taste flushing 100% will improve your taste in bud FACT

I don't care how long you've been growing. My mom has been cooking as long as I've been alive and that woman can't cook for shit. Length of time you've been doing something has no bearing on how well you do it

I agree with you on that quote about curing you can cure nutrients out but takes months I was quoting on your first post you said if you need to flush its because you did something wrong if you want to smoke it quicker and taste nicer flush is 100% needed and proven FACT

BUT that being said i'm an organic hippy farmer... I don't feed my plants a single thing.
well minus my compost, but during the grow all I ever add is water and silica.

Its a little more "in depth" cant just simply "not flush" and compare. You gotta grow top notch healthy girls first then try a flushed plant and unflushed plant. My guess is the flushed plant will ripen too quickly reducing taste,smell and sometimes size but atleast it will dry a few days quicker. The only reason an un-flushed plant will take on a chemical smell/taste is because it has way to much N and/or P in the root zone during harvest which would indicate a grower error regardless! We've all tried it.
