Whats the closest you put them to the canopy? I have 55 inches of workable room. I keep the plants low and scrog. Keeping the lights 24 inches or more is out of the question.

apparently riu is becoming like ic mag. being controlled by outside companies,, Fuck @RosinTech and foundation extracts. I don't know if they paid riu or threatened the admins, They like to threaten. They had threads locked and pulled on here. if this shit continues this forum will be ruined just like ic rag. everyone will leave..


foundation extracts posted a threat on my instagram and then deleted it yesterday. I still have the screen shot though. They were reported to the better business bureau and the BBB did open a case on them.


I've been on this forum for 5 plus years . rosin tech has been on here for 3 days..... I spent tons of money on lawyers destroying a shady cops career for harrassing me back in the day. I'm not afraid of rosin tech or foundation extracts. I will fight just based on principle alone.

I here you. We are taking our property company to court for kicking us out for growing. We are ready to leave but we are going to fight them because someone has to.

Sorry you had to deal with this, but I don't think RIU will devolve any further if it means destroying their user base. A lot of people go on this thread. I lurk here all the time in fact, this is a great place to take the pulse of the LED organic community. I think that the community is on your side, so hopefully the admins are on your side by default. I've been on this site for about 5 years as well. I think we have come a long way, but we still have a long way to go too. Hell even I got suckered in by one of those fake companies into buying a light that didn't really work for full cycle cannabis growth that was advertised completely to the contrary. Spectra made wild claims of 1-1.5gpw and all sorts of bullshit until enough of us made a stink about it. That advertising ruined my first few crops because they kept claiming that we all needed to super boost our soil with cal mag and silica to make up for the "advanced spectra" that was hitting the crops. For a while that peddler sold his shit, and I bought it. I think that we have a better support structure now than we did then.

On a lighter note. My upstairs neighbors are in court with our apartment company to get them removed from the building. So the other morning the Mrs. and I were having fun in the master bedroom, something we do with gusto. Often things get loud, but this time we were quiet because it was a little later in the morning and we figured people would be up. About 40 seconds in we hear a banging on our ceiling. The neighbor must have been in her master suite and heard us, but I think the sounds of bi-weekly love making sent her into a fury. She then stormed down the stairs and started pounding on our door. We don't live in the nicest area the the Mrs. and I don't answer the door unless we are expecting someone. An hour later after discussing what the hell was going on we open the door to leave for work.

On our door step we get a sloppily written note in all caps "HAVE RESPECT! WE HAVE A 2 YEAR OLD AND A 4 YEAR OLD PEDOPHILE!". At first I was alarmed that they already discovered that their 4 year old was a pedophile, and confused that they could determine s/he was already a pedophile, but then I realized the truth! There was no way they already knew that 4 year old was a pedophile, and it was then that I realized I was dealing with a moron. This woman did not receive a proper education. She does not also realize that we took the master bedroom knowing that the other tenants were above us. We know for a fact that the children in their home aren't in that room because we hear the adults talking above us watching TV on the bed all the time. The woman was just fed up that her relationship started to dry up the moment her two little spawns sprang from her loins. We are not obnoxious in our love making, the only noise we could have made was bed rocking, which a 2 and 4 year old would have no context on what would be happening below them even though we know for a fact they couldn't have heard us. The note is their last straw as it pissed off my woman who happens to work in child care. I didn't know they were in a legal battle until after the Mrs. spoke with management. She scares me a little when she's mad, but this time it wasn't at me so it was kind of fun. They can move out by next Friday, or be forcefully evicted after that due to the complaints against them and the new note they decided to leave. We are peaceful fun loving people, but when you decide to write hateful and mean spirited things directed towards us, it just makes us go to work against you.

I know this was long winded and may seem off topic, but I think you get what I'm saying. You rock Hyroot, keep it up!
