Bio Diesel F2's incoming

As some of you may already know, II have been planning to preserve this line. I will be releasing seeds to the general public, but not before they get some testing. The seeds are around 3 months out but I thought I'd start this thread to gauge interest in them.

1) Need testers. If you hate me, that's cool. All the better really.

2) When and if they are released - I may have to weed out some bad recessives in the F2 generation but we'll see - they will be cheap.

Have 24 plants to preserve this line with.

If you have interest in testing let me know.

I have a few other lines I am going to preserve too but I decided this one would go first. To those I promised seeds from a different line, they're still coming but not until I preserve it using what I have. That project is going to take much longer to do properly so it has been put on hold for what I think will be a more profitable one in the short term (daddy needs to build bigger and better rooms!).

I'm also gonna be chatting with the guys at Vancouver Seed Bank. They do international orders via credit card. So they should be available far and wide assuming they're even worth reselling. They won't go out untested. Locals will be able to pick them up at some hydro shops around town and a couple dispensaries that I have a good relationship with.

Any updates on the grow.

Yeah I actually took some pictures the other night, I will upload them later today or tomorrow. Been busy trimming! We're getting close to some actual seed in some plants, some others are more diesel leaning and are taking a while longer.

And finally - a pile of dead males RIP. I have learned from this grow that it's actually not that difficult to avoid pollinating plants that you don't want pollinated as long as you keep rooms/areas separate. Despite those males going nuts for a while none of my OD plants got pollinated. I was curious to see what would happen - I expected they wouldn't because they're not THAT close (I have 5 acres) and because of the carbon filter as well as my prior experience with Lowryder. Success. Not too hard actually to keep rooms separate, even just a tent is enough.

Small update - things are getting closer. Learning a bit about the line.

1) Most of them flop like fucking crazy but seem to produce decent sized nuggets. Trellis needed but I've just tied em up to stakes and wrapped some line around them to keep em up as best I can.

2) The ones that don't are more interesting to me smell wise. They smell dank as fuck. No other way to put it. Definitely reminds me of the old school Sensi Star I've smoked and I like that a lot.

3) They're fairly nute sensitive compared to everything else I'm running currently.

4) Seem to handle neglect alright. They had some serious wind stress just from the air flow in the tent. Sealed it up when the pollen was flying. Don't know if anyone else has done this before but you can get some serious air flow if you have a big fan. No issues with bugs or PM.

5) I hate the floppy stems. I think I might continue to work this line into something that's better from seed than this. I really really really really really really hate floppy stems.

6) I had an interesting runt male that had absolutely resin soaked fan leaves. I left him alive longer than all the rest to spread a touch more of his pollen. Didn't keep him though as he was a runt none the less.

7) When preserving a polyhybrid there's inevitably going to be some selection pressure just because some plants take a lot longer than others - at least that's the case here. This should be shorter flowering than just the F1 overall I think as they were more pollinated but there will still be long flowering plants in there.

Some pics from tonight:

Close ups - quicker flowering:

Different plant, these are mostly all the quicker flowering ones:

And finally what's cooking on the other side of the tent - first 50 of my large seed run a decent way in now... gonna have some beautiful Sugar Punch to smoke this Christmas - amongst other goodies.

Canopy shot - no topping.

Promising Sugar Punch up close and personal - she's vigorous as hell too and has nice structure but this isn't really a Sugar Punch thread. Just thought I'd share.

We're approaching week 3.

Also going to be running a handful of these F2's myself as I really like the promise here... this line is very nice. No doubt about it IMO. If it smokes like it smells I'm gonna be a big fan. Just not a fan of the floppy plants. I suspect the F2's will have some really interesting specimens to select from. And I'm looking forward to it.

The one and only.
Is 303 Seeds affiliated with Denver Relief? They're the ones who bred, named and won the Colorado Cannabis Cup with Bio Diesel some seven years ago. I tried to get the strain from them then several times but they were tight fisting it.

I'd like to be a tester if it isn't too late.
