My girls are still in early bud, so the rain was welcomed. Went out yesterday n sprayed some mold prventer. None yet... but i always get some.

Mold has been a problem in my garden all season. First powdery mildew then botrytis. Not enough air flow and not enough sun. Good to hear your on the way to harvest. I still have my fingers crossed that my last two ladies will make it to a proper finish. Hope you get a good return.

I was just going over some of the early buds I harvested while trimming I made an observation. Mold seems to infect the plants through the pre flower calyxes that have swollen and died. Have any of you noticed the same thing and would complete removal of the pre flower calyxes help reduce infection rates with mold?

Maybe.mold is just all over this year.even with this nice weather now.harvested some recently cause I didn't want to lose a big % of flowers.my c99 x afghani is not gonna be a keeper,smells awesome,but too much mold showing up.the dew is not helping,very heavy lately,plants look wet till 10 am,even with morning Sun.glad I put out more than what I need,have and will lose more than expected.

I agree with you mold is having a good year. Having to chop so much so early is a bummer. My expected 7-8 lbs of pineapple dwindled to 3 1/2-4lbs. And I'll only be getting half the blueberry. I did a partial harvest in my Crimea. My last hope is with the holy grail.

im loving the Incredible bulk this year! its performing great for me! i have 1 insurance strain going that i know i can depend on which is the Delahaze so the Ib was new tester this year that im gonna try again for 2016. last year was a nite mare for me with mold so i went hard this year with a good IPM that has worked great thus far with zero mold loss. ive learned the best way to fight mold is well before u ever get infected so it will be minimual loss. we just work to hard for our ladys to let mold ruin such beautiful colas in the last 2-3 weeks of flower. prevention is the key, and of course tried and proven strains that u can bet the farm on doing what it always does,which is to produce big,potent,and lovely mold free buds

The weather forecast is saying it could get down to the mid 30's overnight in my neck of the woods. That's about as close to a frost as I wanna get this time of year. I've got a couple plants that still have about a week left and I hope mother nature cooperates with all of us in the northeast. Play it smart, play it safe, and good luck to all you outdoor farmers in the north.

going to get the rest of my Crimea blue today and go over my holy grill carefully. hope everybody staying mould free and the weather's been at least fairly nice

Yes i have definately noticed this. The first signs of mold for me are always about halfway up the plant on popcorn buds. I picked the dead calyxes off of an auto last year and it helped forsure. On 6-10ft plants thats alot of work!!!
Bought me a couple of standing oscillating fans this year to deal with the morning mildew. No mold so far.Knock on wood. Only a few weeks left...Ive only got a few plants though..So fans work perfectly..Just shake em off. Then run the fans on em until the sun comes out..

Was using some stuff from home depot-fungicide3,for organic gardens.finally found some serenade that I used today.Hope it helps

i chopped my incredible bulk today and its a plant that has impressed me very good. i will be buying a whole pack of these next year. its hardy as fkk,highest bud to leaf ratio on any plant i have ever grown! it even beats my #1 guerilla strain the Delahaze in this area..i never thought any strain i would try for guerilla growing would ever beat the Delahaze in this area as the Dela is super easy to trim as well, and the IB does exactly what the breeder says it will do. its the only plant i had this summer that did not show signs of drought. its got rock hard buds,and potent as hell. i prolly sound like a broken record with this IPM shit guys but i use to lose plants to mold ever year till i started a proper IPM..im just trying to get u guys to see that it can be prevented and u wont ever have to lose a bud to mold no more..of course u gotta run only tried and proven strains for outdoors or otherwise no matter what u spray or fed them will stop mold.. i did use some preventative measures to prevent bud rot before it ever got started. i used chitosan(insect frass & bud factor x),salylic acid(aspirin & aloe 200x powder),B-52 & Regalia for SAR activation and Sns244c for the first 3 weeks of flower then switched to actinovate. i would highly advise anyone that is dealing with mold to keep the SAR of the plants activated and the plant will fight the mold for u but this only can be done as preventative so once u got it u cant do nothing about it but control what u can. i suffered huge loss's last year to mold and my season went to hell bc of wrong strain choices and no IPM and i paid the price. this year i was determined to beat bud rot and so far i have with zero mold on 4 harvested plants. Anyways heres the pics of the Incredible bulk that has great potential as a very early big yeilding strain to have in the guerilla grower tool box.

Looking good boys..I chopped my two Super Sour og's today and forgot how much I hate trimming.i have had very little mold this year maybe a couple grams but i think the BT seems to have kept the worms at bay.Also the weather in my area has been dry as a bone witch definitely helps.I 4 girls left to ripen a bit more maybe 2 weeks hope the weather holds.

I feel you on the trimming. First comes the hard work, then the anxiety, and then a cramped scissor hand. Everytime harvesting is awesome. Then when its all down dreaming of next years bigger better crop of herb.
The weather has been better this September than the last. No rain has helped me enormously on my holy grail and what's left of the crimea blue. Its great seeing all the buds making it home this year.
