You sure it was deer?usually they don't touch them once they flower.Went to check on my girls. Found all my biggest colas gone. Omfg. Almost cried.
Fucking deer. Whats that they say about an ounce of prevention. Liqud fence n garlic stakes went in the next day.
I have had entire flowering plants eaten by deer. One jumbo grizzly plant I had they at everything except the top kola. You sure it was deer?usually they don't touch them once they flower.

Sounds like an ethical thief. Took your cola and ran. Deer are a mainly spring early summer problem. This is ripper season. Sucks to get hit. Happened to me last year.Went to check on my girls. Found all my biggest colas gone. Omfg. Almost cried.

I've had very little mold. Its the rain I'm worried about. How is everyone doing with the overnight temperatures? it been 45 degrees every night when I am and still 2 weeks till estimated harvest. Although i've had plants grow alright in 32 degree weather, this fall looks nasty for the northeast.
The temps are fine with me,makes them mature quicker.it the dryness I am worried about.now that the leaves are starting to color up,they might drop quick.no cover,no good for me.gotta be out by then one way or another. How is everyone doing with the overnight temperatures? it been 45 degrees every night when I am and still 2 weeks till estimated harvest. You know, at 1st I thought it was rippers. Or maybe a lucky hunter looking for a place to put his stand. But the height of all the cuts were really consistant... all chest height. Then, looking closer... the cuts were almost v shaped. Plus there were a few scrape mark on a few branches & pieces of buds in the ground. You sure it was deer?usually they don't touch them once they flower.
Nice work foothills, got some big buds there.Took my "Agent Orange" plant early yesterday morning. She did great here in the foothills of the Adirondacks with very little mold.

Thanks doc, wanted it to go a little longer but I would have probably lost alot to mold.wasn't prepared for real humid weather late August early Sept.Looks great!
Another upside, you got them rather than someone elseWent to the woods to water today & saw that some1 started widening the trail to my spot. No mistaking it this time... fresh cut branches n saplings 1" thick leading to my spot.
On the up side... it made getting my girls out of there alot easier. If you consider that an upside.
Thanks foothills, hope the rest of yours goes well too.Looking great Marco and good luck with your other girls. I hope the cover hangs on until they finish up.
True that. I couldnt stand the thought losing my girls after all the work i put in. theyll spend the next few weeks in the garden n hopefully all will end well.Another upside, you got them rather than someone else
